“Absolutely phenomenal! This has got to be the BEST pizza I’ve had in ages. We stumbled upon this gem and completely fell in love. The menu may be short, but they excel in every single thing they serve—and I’d argue they do it better than anyone else out there. We kicked things off with the Burrata with white truffle oil and Prosciutto, and it was beyond delicious—a perfect start. Then came the pizzas: the Meat Lovers and Star Luca. Unreal! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it’s hard to believe that each pizza could be as exceptional as the last. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we ended the meal with the Nutella Pizza with Bananas. How is it even possible for every single item to be this amazing? But it’s not just the food; the atmosphere and staff elevate the experience to a whole new level. Katherine, our server, was outstanding. She made us feel completely at home and had spot-on recommendations for everything. We even got to meet Marco, who may be the owner or GM, and either way, he’s clearly got a gift for running an extraordinary establishment. “Antonio’s House of Pizza has quickly become my go-to spot, and it all started with their garlic knots—easily the best I’ve ever had. They’re baked to perfection: golden on the outside, soft on the inside, and soaked in a rich, flavorful garlic oil that makes them completely irresistible. You can smell the garlic as they hit the table—and they taste even better than they smell.

I also have to rave about their gluten-free pizza. As someone who eats gluten-free regularly, I’ve tried a lot of crusts that fall flat—but not here. Their gluten-free crust is thin, crisp, and full of flavor. It actually tastes like real pizza, which is a rare find. The toppings are super fresh and generously layered.

“Get to Cafe Paisano immediately! My wife, daughter, and I found Cafe Paisano while we were staying in Longwood on vacation. I had already eaten, they got some takeout, and when I tasted the food, I knew we would be headed back before we left. Cafe Paisano is a smaller, cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. We brought 12 people and they were happy to accommodate us in no time. Our group ordered a variety of entrees and EVERYONE loved their meal. Pizza, lasagna, pasta, everyone was happy and the portions were large. Our server was a young lady, but she was amazing! She handled our large, rowdy group very well with the skill of someone who had been serving for decades. She is probably the best server I have ever had. Upon arriving and before leaving I spoke briefly with the owner and he makes you feel right at home. Living close to New Orleans, it's hard to find a restaurant that will beat our favorite places in the city, but this little spot right here is an absolute hidden gem. Whenever I am in Orlando I will be stopping in to dine with these great people. Longwood is lucky to have them.“

“The chicken quesadilla was excellent. The chef clearly proud of his food. “These are the best quesadilla in town” he said. He’s 100% correct. I don’t usually like refried beans but these were really good. Same with the rice. The hot sauces are made in house. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. The chicken was fresh abs tender. it’s more of a take out place but there are a few tables. I’ll be back….often.“

“We were recommended to try this pizza place that we had not yet been to. It was very good! Had a great hometown feel, with a cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was so warm and welcoming and gave us great recommendations. We went with a cheese pizza and garlic knots as those are our go to’s when trying a new pizza place and they did not disappoint. The knots were true knots which believe it or not can be hard to find these days, and the pizza crust was light and airy with a nice crisp. Definitely would recommend checking out if you’re looking for a great place for some NY style pizza!“

Summerlin, Orlando For my first meal in a restaurant after moving back to Orlando, I happily chose Anthony’s Pizzeria in Thornton Park, at the heart of downtown Orlando, which means you can eat your delicious meal and then walk around Lake Eola to cancel those calories. When I first moved to Florida in the 1990s, I went downtown looking for a hole-in-the-wall video rental store called Angel Heart, which reputedly rented John Waters movies which weren’t available anywhere else. The bad news when i arrived was that Angel Heart was having a going-out-of-business sale; the good news was that I bought their John Waters VHS collection for less then ten dollars. As I walked back to my car, I saw a pizza place on the corner of Washington & Summerlin, and it soon became my go-to restaurant in Orlando. All these years later, Anthony’s has grown into a large and beautiful place—though I still like dining on the street side patio, and I still order my mushroom Stromboli even though the expansive menu offers a full range of Italian dinners and of course their outstanding pizza. This time I treated myself to a caprese salad Anthony’s has one of the best physical locations in the city—walkable to all of the major attractions downtown, yet still having a quiet neighborhood feeling and even having its own free parking lot, which is rare these days in the city beautiful. The food meets my exasperatingly snobby northern expectations of what Italian food should taste like, and the service is excellent. I recommend Anthony’s to everyone everywhere always.“

“I have been craving chicken piccata, but too lazy to make it. I ordered directly through them for delivery and it arrived piping hot and perfect. I got it with added mushrooms and extra sauce and a side of the antipasto salad. It also came with garlic knots. The sauce was exactly how I wanted it. And the salad had the perfect amount of toppings and dressing. I called the order in and the woman that answered the phone was polite and helpful- as was the person who delivered it. I will definitely be visiting the restaurant in person, but can’t imagine it tasting better than it did delivered.“

I forgot what it was called but it was one of chef’s specials. This place does not have their liquor license so I would advise against their wine-based cocktails, and just get wine instead. “Being from NJ we take our pizza seriously and this place is hands down the best place I've come across outside the NJ/NY area. I've had their Ziti, Lasagna, Chicken Marsala, and Eggplant Parm, all amazing and filling. I used to do plain pizza because their pie does not need extras, but I now add mushrooms, red onion or eggplant. Lunch line is worth the wait. I had jury duty in April and I was not surprised at the wait, not long though.“
