“I’ve been coming to Houndstooth Eatery for years and it’s easily one of my favorite local spots. I usually get the chicken avocado press and it’s always hot, fresh, delicious, and incredibly quick. The quality is consistently great, everything is clean, and the energy is always welcoming.

One of my favorite things is how much they love my pup Duncan. He literally runs up to them so excited to say hi and get his little treat\! 🐾 They always bring him fresh water whether we sit inside or out on the patio, and they even have photos of their four-legged regulars on the wall.

We had the pleasure of being served by Tyrese . I ordered half muffuletta that was so huge I couldn’t even take down half of a half! My husband ordered Blackened Chicken served over grit cakes…. “I recently attended an event at the Amway Center. Arriving early I decided to grab a bite to eat on Church Street. I found a menu attached to an outside window of Cucina Pizza & Bar. The menu items were many. I chose to eat inside, although they have a large outside eating area with umbrellas. Andrew was my waiter, a very nice and knowledgeable individual. I ordered an Italian sub, and ask if it could be toasted. Jimmy the cook built me a wonderful sub, just as I ask it to be made. There was plenty of staff, and they all seemed friendly & efficient. When I go back to the Amway Center for an event, Cucina’s will definitely be my restaurant of Choice. Much success.“

“So I was in the area for a meeting and it went late and so I had to grab a sandwich around 3 o’clock so I googled where I was and this came up on the map. I accidentally drove by it once and had to go around the block again. It was such a cute location and when I parked, there was people coming out and they were raving about the sandwiches and it was their first time too, and they said you definitely have to go inside, and I’m so glad that I did. It was SO BADAS’S DELICIOUS and I will definitely be back again and especially when I do real estate events and request catering!“

No margaritas, due to having to go back to work, serving Coke products and very good iced tea. Three types of salsa red (mild) verde (Medium) and Habanero (Hot).

“We decided to try Bricks & Butter in Orlando and had a very nice experience. Bricks & Butter is one of about eight food trucks that line the outside of a large central seating area. It was easy to find, and there was a good amount of parking available when we visited. The seating area has tables, some shaded areas, and a nice grassy area in the middle. There is no air conditioning, so keep that in mind on a hot Florida day, although there was a decent amount of shade. There are also two permanent drink stations at opposite ends of the seating area, with one offering coffee and other drinks and the other serving alcoholic beverages. Bricks & Butter specializes in signature sandwiches, and you order using a screen located at the window of the food truck. After placing your order, you enter your name and phone number so they can let you know when it is ready. We ordered the steak sandwich and the Chicken Parm sandwich, one with sweet potato fries and the other with regular curly fries. Our order took about 10-15 minutes to come out. Both sandwiches were large, and the fries were served separately on foam plates. Everything was very good, although our favorites were definitely the Chicken Parm sandwich and the sweet potato fries. If you want ketchup or other condiments, make sure to ask for them because they were not automatically included with our order. The total for all of our food was about $45, which I thought was reasonable considering the size and quality of the sandwiches and fries. Overall, this was a nice four-star experience with great food, pleasant staff, and a unique atmosphere. It is also nice having several other food trucks around the same seating area if everyone in your group doesn't want the same type of food. I would definitely recommend giving Bricks & Butter a try if you are in the area. Enjoy!“
