“I am a Greek fan so when I was out with some of my employees and saw it was lunchtime, I had to pull out my Yelp app to see what options there was and came across this restaurant. I walked in and there was a short line but the cashier was taking orders pretty quickly. They had a board with some specials but I came for the gyro. One employee had the veggie gyro as he is vegetarian and the other had a gyro like me. The pita was warmed which is a good sign. The tzatziki had a nice consistency. There was a lot of meat in the gyro. All together it was delicious. Fries were hot. Best of all was the price- I want to say less than 10 dollars for the gyro, fries and a fountain drink.“
“Our first time here and had gyros and a flourless chocolate cake! They were fantastic. Our server Leo was super nice and courteous. Loved him, too. Maitre’D and host were very professional. Fun atmosphere. We’ll be coming back here again and again!“
“Top tier food and service! Staff is always professional, friendly and beautiful. Do not miss their delicious spreads, kefte and always fresh Greek salads! Mouthwatering cocktails and great selection of wines, many of which you won't find anywhere else. A must-try destination for the best Greek experience in south-florida!!“
“Atmosphere has a nice chill vibe. Service was on point and management/owners make you feel like family. I would tell you about the food but you would be better served if you went in and tried it yourselves... you will not be disappointed.“
“Another great score: my new neighborhood includes a an authentic, family-owned Greek spot, The Gyro Joint, with amazing food & friendly service not even 2 minutes away! This is already the 2nd time this week my sister & I have gotten their food. My only gripe so far is that they're not open later than 9pm! Already confirmed their gyros are the bomb so tried wings tonight and they did not disappoint! Crispy, meaty, & served with a tasty housemade dipping sauce. Deeeeelish! Can't wait to try more!“
“Across-the-board, this place is outstanding! My friend, and I went to two other pizzerias before she suggested that we come to Kosta's. Being from NY we don't eat just any pizza! We went to Bruscos and they acted like we were invisible, so we left. Kosta's greeted us like family! When they asked if we had ever been there my friend told them she had but I hadn't and we were looking for pizza ! The owner immediately threw a slice of pizza in the oven and split it between us to sample! It was incredible! I ordered a pie , a Greek house salad and 3 different types of desserts to bring home to my hubby who is now also hooked! Our waiter Nick provided service that we haven't seen in a while! He was friendly knew the menu entirely at suggested dishes that he thought we would like, because he loved them! He really made our day after the complete rudeness at Bruscos! We will be back! Thank you so much for the great food , ambiance, , friendly service and attention to detail! If you are in the area place is a MUST!“
“I really had a great experience here for my first time eating here. It was my husband idea to bring me here for breakfast due to this is where he and other co workers come here to eat??The prices are very reasonable and the food is fresh and hot? I’ll be back soon“
“Tried this place the other day for the first time and my husband and I were very satisfied. Finally found a great Gyro place!! Gyro was on point and fresh! Customer service very nice and friendly. We have since returned 2 more times and plan to have this as our usual place going forward. ?“
“I am Greek so take it from a Greek this is the best Greek food in Fort Lauderdale. I've watched so many people wait in line for hours at some Greek restaurants in town the food is not half as good as Greek pastries &deli100% recommend“
“Great experience and phenomenal food, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.I’ve been eyeballing this place because it’s so close to me and has such an inviting look. But I will say after trying to food I am here to stay!We started with the octopus to share. It was delicious, flavored with lemon and spices and grilled enough where the inside was still super tender. It came with a side of tomato salad and olive oil drizzle. Then we went for the pita bread & butter which was super flavorful and such a great addition. The sea food pasta was delicious, adorned with shrimp, squid and clams. It was everything I could wish for. My husband for the swordfish with rice and salad. Also a phenomenal choice. The dishes tasted fresh and home made which we found to be charming. Another plus is the size of the plates. While it was too much for one sitting I am fond of taking leftovers, but I’m sure some people will find comfort in knowing you won’t leave hungry. They had tons of wine options that paired well with the food, and our waiter was knowledgeable in the dish to drink pairing so if there’s any doubt you can always ask him.I will say I was a bit taken with the prices of the plates, but after seeing the size of it I can understand why. The restaurant has a modern look to it which was something I did not expect, since the building outside is somewhat rustic. Overall, great experience and I hope to return soon.“
“food was amazing. second time again excellent. ROYA you are the best server ever, changing plates bringing fast drinks, just AMAZING!! my husband and I work in the restaurant industry, and you can see she cares about her customers with her best recomendations! We love you and we will be back and you are one of the main reasons! this is your sign to go to this place, ask for her! she is there tuesday wednesdays! i promise u will love her!“
“Over the top is an understatement, All you taste is fresh food. This is a positive atmosphere, you can tell that Chef Nikol is focused on making your experience one that will make you want to come back. I order the Very Berry Greek Salad with Chicken!!!! insanely delicious and my husband had a Chicken Souvlaki Pita with Fries.. For Desert we ordered a Bougasta Pastry!!! Please try this flaky pastry was to die for. We are hooked and can't wait to try everything else on the menu. Saturday nights they have live music. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Amazing fresh healthy authentic med food. So happy to have found you !! You save us with a tasty and truly nutritious food! Fast. Healthy. Affordable. No hidden bad ingredientsVegetarian options: Super options for healthy proteins such as lentils. Very yummie“
“We ordered two double combos. I had the shawarma chicken and gyro with a side of middle eastern salad and Greeks fries. My husband had gyro and beef kabob with grilled vegetables and middle eastern salad. Both dishes came with pita bread. The meats were amazing. The beef kabob was ground seasoned beef with so much flavor. The salad was perfect, and the best were the Greek fries. They were crispy and topped with feta cheese and fresh parsley. We got a cup of lemon dressing we could dip them into. Both our portions were very large. Florie was our server and she was attentive, helpful and genuinely kind. This was an amazing dinner for two and I can’t wait to return again.Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly!“
“I'm surprised that I didn't have a review to this already. I really dropped the ball on this one! The food is excellent, the owners are great, my fiance and I have been going here since they opened.Everything on the menu is good. I'm not a salad fan but theirs is so good that we even tried to recreate it (with some success lol). We absolutely love the gyro either in a platter or pita. In fact I'm going to grab some today and update with a photo.Oh and yeah the restaurant is a bit small but there's not many people there when I go so its fine if I want to sit down.10/10 would recommend. Also that hater that clearly double complained about the gyro fries and overcooked meat has 0 tastes buds because I get the gyro just for this. Don't be scared to try the fries in your gyro“
“cute little spot, indoor and outdoor seating. fast service. nice Greek murals on walls, greek music playing. large platters, reasonably priced. refills on self service beverages. pleasant staff. east front door free parking. i would return and recommend to locals and tourists to Broward area.“
“My daughter found this place, and we decided to stop in. We were both glad we did. It was a perfect cheesesteak. Better than what you can get in Philly. Perfect bun, steak, cheese, etc. It was all made and served fresh. We will definitely be going back. Price is good too. Staff was friendly as well.“
“Have eaten here several times and the food never disappoints! Chef Alex and his family really put their love into what they do and the food shows for it. The octopus is our family favorite, and the gyro is probably the best you’ll ever have. Definitely Check them out if you ever get a chance to! And if you ever see V’s Cakes in the pink trunk with them Check out her amazing cheesecakes!“
“The employees/staff are exceptionally NICE they go above and beyond helping and assertiveness to assist the customers. The women at the counter working are so helpful and always going above and beyond. The food is very good also.Parking: Compared to any other places in the area there is plenty of parking. They are generous with parking.“
“These guys are on point. Always consistently great. No surprises. I’m go here at least once or twice a week. Excellent simple clean Greek food. Prices are also extremely affordable. High quality ingredients. Most everything made on premises. Love this place!“
“The freshness of the food is something you can taste no matter what fish you order. the staff was very friendly and even tho you order at the register and pay beforehand, you receive full service at the table. We finally have outstanding Greek Food in Boca!! they have a homemade Baklava they serve from the same try it was baked... it doenst get any fresher than that....And they cater for private and corporate events too!“
“Delicious food with amazing service. Everything is made from scratch and made with love! The owner, Christina, is there front and center showing pride in her business and greeting every person. Such a lovely place that will definitely be a regular spot for me!“

“My favorite neighborhood Greek Restaurant run by a very welcoming and hardworking family!I’ve ordered from here several times over the course of couple of years and each and every time it’s been a home run - the food is always wholesome, fresh and made to order, quick to come out, very satisfying and the customer service is simply wonderful! It’s hard to recommend anything in particular because everything is so damn good. Compliments to the chef/owner indeed. It’s worth working your way through the menu starting out at the top!The portions are generous and the premises is always clean.“
“Three of us went for lunch, and we sat outside. The food was delicious. The server was lovely The price was excellent. I would definitely go back. It looks like it would be a wonderful place for happy hour. The only problem was we were seated very close to where the servers were dumping the used dishes and it got pretty loud at times“
“We had been eyeing Greek Guys Souvlaki in Fort Lauderdale for months, eagerly awaiting its opening. However, after moving away from the area, it somewhat slipped our minds. On a recent visit back to the vicinity, curiosity got the better of us, and we decided to check if it had finally opened. We were thrilled to find that it had.Our experience at Greek Guys Souvlaki was nothing short of fantastic. The service truly set the tone for a memorable meal. Both the owner and the main chef were incredibly welcoming and personable, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. The chef went above and beyond by customizing our order to accommodate my wife's vegetarian preferences, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The food itself was excellent – flavorful, satisfying, and reasonably priced. It's worth noting that this isn't your typical fine dining Greek establishment. Instead, it's the perfect spot for a quick, delicious meal without the fuss, which is exactly what we were looking for.Given our positive experience, we strongly recommend Greek Guys Souvlaki to anyone in Fort Lauderdale looking for a tasty, no-frills Greek meal. The combination of great service, customizable menu options, and reasonable prices makes it a standout choice for a quick bite. We're certainly glad we rediscovered it and plan to return whenever we're in the area.“
“This little Greek bistro in LBTS is a gem. The food is terrific and the hustle bustle is just right. Be patient because service can be a bit slow, but always friendly. The owner took our order and made us feel like we were in her home. The food is worth the wait. Warm, wood-fired complimentary pita with hummus was delicious and our meals (Greek Salad, Black grouper [special] and lamb shank w/orzo) were delightful. They have a great wine and beer selection, especially Eastern European beers. We enjoyed the Czech Pilsner and the Greek Chardonnay and will be back again.“
“They are five minutes door to door to my house and I love the workers they are always friendly helpful and my orders are always perfect. First thing I had the first time I went was the lamb chops and Greek lemon pate with Greek salad nothing better than that. Well except for the spinach pie and the Greek salad add on. Prices are reasonable“
“Oh, stop your endless scrolling in search of the ultimate Gyro spot in Deerfield! Look no further, for you have stumbled upon it! I happened to be on a work trip when the craving for a gyro struck me. Curiosity led me to this establishment, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! From the delectable food to the impeccable service and the delightful evening atmosphere (we even snagged a spot outside!), everything was simply perfect! The authenticity of this place transported me straight to Athens, as if dining in a charming little restaurant there. The moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm and cozy ambiance that feels just like home. I cannot express my admiration for this place enough. Absolutely thrilled with the experience!“
“This place is amazing. Listening to a pleasing techno/house music right when you walk in. Ordered the gyro. Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. I couldn’t take the photo of the food fast enough I had to take a bite ?“
“Great food. Lots of flavor. Fresh. I haven only used pick up here many times and no problem with service. The only thing I would suggest about this restaurant is be careful with the gyro meat. They will over cook the gyro meat and serve it to you very dried out from being on the rotisserie way too long“
“Great Greek Food! Very fresh and delicious. I ordered for delivery, and they brought it on time and hot. Their prices are a bit on the expensive side, but once in a while it is worth it to splurge. Especially the lemon rice soup - delicious!“
“Souvlaki Time is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. I couldn’t resist trying the classic Beef/Lamb gyro pita. And let me tell you it was amazing. If you’re craving authentic Greek cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting, Souvlaki Time is the place to go. Highly recommended!“
“A delightful little Greek bistro gem in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. The service is a little slow out of the gate but the food is terrific and definitely worth the wait. Our favorites are the seafood (Branzino and fish special) and the Lamb Shank with Orzo and feta cheese. The Greek Salad is top notch, too. The complimentary pita is oven fired with fresh hummus or a yogurt-inspired seafood dip. They have a unique selection of Eastern European beers, too, which is a refreshing alternative to the usual list. I has the Czech Pilsner and the rest of the table went with the Greek Chardonnay which was pretty good! As locals, we've dined here before and will definitely return.“
“Stopped here for for lunch and was impressed by how fresh and savory the food was. The pita was soft, the meat tender and the toppings were fresh and crispy. The restaurant on Cypress Creek has plenty of parking and there’s a movie theater in the same plaza so if you want to grab a quick bite before the show, I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and very accommodating.Parking: Lots of spacious parking and well lit lot“
“Amazing little cafe! We were visiting FLL and this place was within walking distance from our hotel. My husband had the ham & cheese omelet. He said it was one of the best he's ever had. The grits were real grits - not instant. Our waitress was delightful! So sweet & so friendly! Do yourself a favor - stop here!!“
“I have been coming to this place for years…love their salmon pita-delicious and the price is just right! Save a dollar with a coupon from yelp if you would like?. Call ahead for pickup and save yourself the wait…hidden gem, highly recommend!?Vegetarian options: Yummy veggie pita too!I am pescatarian and their Salmon Pita with a side tzatziki is amazing, at least to me!Parking: Plenty“
“We've ordered lunch and dinner here many times and it's always delicious and fresh. Recently, we ordered through their catering menu for a party and Alex went out of her way to accommodate my requests and was so nice! The young men working when I picked everything up were polite and helpful, would definitely order for another party!“
“My family and I have been eating at gyromania for about a year and we love it. It's light-hearted environment is warm and welcoming yet simply. They food however is fantastic! So much to choose from and so healthy. I typically order the same thing each time as I'm a creature of habit. Shiskabob chicken which comes with a side salad and some of the best rice I've eaten. The crew are always polite and welcoming as well.“
“It's been a long time since I've eaten here and it still the best place for shawarma or falafel. I was get the wrap, because you get the ingredients distributed evenly. Sorry for not taking a picture before I ate, but I add a shot before I was done. Friendly staff, clean place.“
“We recently visited Thasos for the second time. The atmosphere was great with live Greek music. We were pleased with the food and service. For appetizers, we ordered oysters, Brussels sprouts, and zucchini chips. While everything tasted good, we wished that the tzatziki had garlic as it was a little bland. For the main course, we ordered the bronzino, lamb chops, and veal chop. The meals were all delicious and did not disappoint.“
“Food was delicious, great portions and great price. I would come back again.I ordered a build your own pita. Was hoping for gyro but they were out because the delivery truck had not arrived on time. Totally understandable. I ordered the spicy chicken instead and it was great. Ingredients tasted fresh. Liked the hummus and tzatziki sauces and they gave me extra on the side.Service was friendly but simple. I walked in, ordered and walked out with my food. Very quick service.“
“Let me just start off by saying the from the moment that the food entered my mouth until there was none left each bite was better than the last. The portions greatly pleased me. Everything from the service to the hospitality to how I felt like mom was cooking me again made Gyroville an elite place to eat at 24/7.“
“We were in the area for Tortuga Music Festival and came here both Saturday and Sunday morning for breakfast. We sat in the same booth and had the same waitress both times. Eileen was so nice and welcoming, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the food was delicious! We ordered the waffle combo and Philly Cheesesteak omelet the first day and both were absolutely delicious! We ordered the blueberry pancakes and the country breakfast the next day and again perfection. I would highly recommend you stop here for great casual and affordable dining experience!!“
