A very solid American Chinese style takeout even with a pretty good stock kick of heat without me asking for xtra. There's only one authentic Chinese in central Florida but it's 50min from the house so this one being 8min from the house we will definitely return.“

When I added Chinese restaurants to the lists of options for review, I never quite imagined the sheer morass of unpleasant, disagreeable, and horrendous food I would be diving into. Toward that end, when Xin Da emerged as candidate for appraisal, I pondered in silent thought, "uggh...here we go again." A cursory surveyance of the interior of the eatery revealed an atmosphere which is typical of every other Chinese joint I've visited. The first tangible difference of which I took notice is represented in Lim. He is the owner of the restaurant and is accompanied by his son. It's noteworthy that both are of Chinese ethnicity and that both speak English fluently; so well in fact that my respect, my approbation very nearly gave way to zelotopia. Seriously though, he is a great guy. My order consisted of Kung Pao Chicken, Crab Rangoon, and fried dumplings. The food has always been delicious and they know you very well so they give you what you want exactly how you want it. “I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I will say the very first time we had Lin's Garden it was just okay. But we tried it again and it was amazing. And everytime afterwards it has been amazing as well.
So I would say if you have had Lin's Garden in the past to try it again because it is much better now. I'm not sure what changed but I'm very happy with it.“

Their soups are mildly seasoned with msg but my husband, who is very allergic suffered no discomfort.
Their entrees are delicious and the appetizers.

“This is a strip mall take out restaurant so atmosphere is not an issue. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Egg drop soup outstanding. Not so much the crispy noodles. Gen Chao’s chicken a bit spicy but delicious. Will definitely go back to this establishment.“
