“Can't say enough good things about this place. We tried their Saturday brunch buffet once on a whim and ended up going almost every week for months (can't wait until it comes back in fall). The food was so good that my GF who doesn't eat beef and is very picky loved it. Their brunch has the option of full meat service or just the AYCE brunch bar which includes coffee/orange juice and your standard breakfast buffet stuff like scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, etc. along with the ability to get things like eggs, omelets, waffles, pancakes made to order AND a variety of lunch food (notably including but not limited to AYCE tacos). When you consider normal breakfast places with meal and a drink are now costing $20+ a person their AYCE brunch is an absolute deal (I literally just this weekend spent $22 on a breakfast of 2 eggs, 4 slices of bacon, potatoes, a biscuit, and a soda--nowhere near what I'd get at Brasas). But honestly the quality of the food and value alone aren't what make this place stand out to me. Simply put, its the people. The owner(s) and staff are some of the most genuinely nice, down to earth, hard working, and appreciative people I've met running a restaurant in years. Its obvious how much they care about and take pride in everything they do. By the third time we went there, it felt like they weren't just happy that we were back, but that they were genuinely happy to see us. Give this place a try (especially the brunch when it comes back). This is the type of family run place that the local community should support and tourists should enjoy.”

“We ate at The Kings Duck for dinner last night (11/19/25) and had Fish and Chips and a Mushroom Cheeseburger both with fries. The fries were some of crispiest, and tastiest we have ever had! Also, the Mushroom Swiss Burger cooked medium rare was perfectly cooked, which is hard to get done correctly. The Fish was also very good!!! I would recommend The Kings Duck for really good food!”

“This place is genuinely amazing and definitely worth your time and money. We came to cape Canaveral from Miami for a trip to kennedy space center and decided to give this place a try. Although everyone seemed to be from the surrounding neighborhoods and knew each other the staff was extremely nice and comforting and by the time I started eating I felt like I was a part of the neighboring community. The wings and fries from here are amazing and food came very fast in only about 5-15 minutes. Would come again 10/10”

“Before yesterday, I had only had two perfect lattes from Starbucks. Both of those were from the Merritt Island N. Courtenay Parkway Starbucks. Yesterday, I was astonished to get a latte there that surpassed the ones I had thought to be perfect (only 2 over the past 2 years). I don’t often treat myself to a Starbucks latte, so it was even more special to have gotten a latte that was over-the-top delicious. Many thanks to Emily. Starbucks: please clone her! On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Emily an 85 (yes, FAR off the scale). I think it not possible to get another latte better than the one I had yesterday.”
