The Birdcage Café is a hidden gem in Miami, and it’s all thanks to the incredible duo, Rocio and Rodrigo. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel like family. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care created an atmosphere that was both welcoming and unforgettable.
Rocio has a gift for hospitality—her energy lights up the café and she makes every guest feel special. Rodrigo’s passion shines through in every dish and drink; the flavors are thoughtful, balanced, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they pour their hearts into everything, from the beautiful presentation to the little personal touches that make the experience extraordinary.
What stood out most is how much love and pride they take in what they do. It’s rare to find a place where the food, service, and ambiance all come together so perfectly, but Rocio and Rodrigo have created exactly that. “This has been a wonderful stay. The hotel is very unique yet luxurious. The staff here especially Wendell and Lizette have been great and very accommodating! We ate breakfast on our last day and that too was top notch. The beach is right across the way and you have access to beach chairs with your stay as well. We will definitely come back, thank you Pelican Team Members for a memorable time!“

“Had a wonderful time here today. Came in to cool off with a few drinks- bartender took special requests and made my fav with ease. Was joined by several friends for dinner and we had a wonderful experience. Service was awesome and the food amazing! Best ceviche I’ve had in years! Will definitely come back!“
“It is hard to put into so many words, but the Eden Rod has been our vacation destination for 7 years. The hotel is situated mid Miami beach, hotel is clean and the customer service exceptional. The moment that you walk through the front door of the hotel and smell the custom scent of the hotel, you know you are where you need to be! This hotel feels like a luxurious home away from home. I feel comfortable but have the luxurious extras that I do not have at home. We will never go to another hotel in Miami.....this is the hotel of our choice! Thank you for making my family feel special!“

“THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! We stopped by during our annual RED DRESS RUN and had a blast! The perfect combination of dance club, restaurant, and dive bar! Be sure to have the Jello shots! We will definitely return next year! 😄“
