We loved the bisque, fried chicken and key lime pie. A fun and festive atmosphere. Feels like an old world kind of charm. Wish they had some smaller quantities of stone crab available to buy.

Hadn't been in 32 years. Shouldn't have waited so long. Called and no wait. Got there and 1 hour wait.š¤£. Host was super nice. Walked by the bar and there were empty seats so we just ate there. Bartender was fun and nice. Stone crabs are worth the price. Only up 100% in 33 years. Not too bad. Same with the 1/2 chicken. Was like $4.95, and now like $8.95. Key lime pie was ridiculous and I normally don't like it. Can't wait to go back. Everything about it was awesome.

š¦ Miami Beach legend and seafood institution! The stone crab claws here are truly iconic with that classic mustard dip, and the key lime pie is tart perfection. š Expect hefty prices, long waits (no reservations), and occasional service quirks, but the history and flavors make it worth the bucketālist stop. š“š«

This place is a gem of South Miami - what a treat! The dining room was classy, white tablecloths, orchids, dim lighting. Our waiter took impeccable care of us, explaining the history of the restaurant (which is over 100 years old!), tying on our bibs, and teaching us the proper way to eat the delicious local Stone Crabs they serve.
Although it was a vastly different crab experience than I'm used to, the chilled hard-shell crab with its signature mustard sauce will forever remain in my fondest memories of Miami.
We had the Stuffies as an appetizer, baked stuffed clams, which were to-die-for. The tender clam meat with savory bread crumb topping blew our minds. We also chose the Hashed Brown Potatoes, Spinach, and SautƩed Corn for our sides, and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection.
And for dessert we had their famous Key Lime Pie, and holy smokes was it the most incredible slice of key lime pie I've ever had!!!

We were hosting a key business client during the boat show. Wonderful server, she was very attentive to our order, crab bisque was very favorable and the tomato and slaw to share with the group. The stone crab was amazing as usual. We enjoyed the key lime pie to top off the meal.

There is a reason why Joe's Stone Crab is such an establishment in Miami. Everything from the service to the food is just incredible. As many others have mentioned, the fried chicken special and the burger are amazing that you shouldn't sleep on. That, coupled with the stone crab meal, which comes with the potatoes, spinach, and a slice of key lime pie, is a perfect meal. The key lime pie is some of the best I've ever had. I look forward to Joe's Stone Crab being a fixture in Miami for decades to come.

Service and atmosphere are incredible. The stone crabs were good, as someone who had never had them before but loves other kinds of crabs. The mustard sauce with them is really what makes them great. The sides that come with the standard meal were very good. My wife had the filet mignon and she said it was very good. Perhaps explore the rest of the menu that isnt the crabs. I have heard the fried chicken is great. As for deserts, the key lime pie was very good, much more subdued lime flavor than I am used to. The bread pudding was best though, absolutely perfect especially with the syrup that had a hint of star anise.

Front of the house has to be the rudest of any restaurant I have ever been to! They need some coaching for sureā¦.. I made reservation months ago and they let everyone and their brother cut in front of us that were walk insā¦. Would have to guess we waited because we didnāt hand them cash to cut in line for a reservation we made months ago. We frequent joes in Chicago and Vegas. Wonāt be back to this location simply bc of your maĆ®tre dā! Rude arrogant unfriendly men!
