The best and only place to come for stone crab. The colossal are an entire meal. Our server Zack was amazing and made the evening special for us. Looking forward to coming back!

Joe's NEVER disappoints. Service is always on point. Food was delicious, we ordered stone crabs and got the hash brown and tomatoes as sides. The Bread Pudding dessert was incredible. Warm with ice cream on top. Such a great place to bring people visiting Miami or who love great food and service. The place is a classic.

The waiter was very attentive however the food was just ok - the crab was near impossible to get the shell off. It might have been flavorful but we couldn't get to it. The wedge came with what was clearly a whole tomato sliced in 4 and thrown in the bowl. Maybe we picked the wrong menu items - but probably won't go back to try something else.

Decided on Joe's for a holiday lunch date with hubby. It was the best decision ever! We had a great meal with a festive, fun atmosphere festive. Highly recommend. Joe's never disappoints!

I was told that you can't go to Miami and not go to Joe's! Now I know why, plus it was stone crab season so the stone crabs were fresh! We also had the fried chicken, don't sleep on the fried chicken, it was very good but the stone crabs are amazing! Impeccable service on top of great food.

Definitely worth experiencing. The food was awesome. My wife loved her stone crabs. Great oysters. Our server was always there for us but not very friendly. We only knew that sat in the original building that had nice decor as we heard a different server telling another table. Recommend.

Check in was a little bit of a zoo. Place was jammed pack. We arrived right on time at 7:30 but was told would not be seated until 8pm. so a little upsetting. Once seated thought service was impeccable and food was exactly what was expected..awesome. After 113yrs in business I think these guys got it right. Soup and mushrooms were excellent and the stone crabs with the $30,00 side was terrific...sweet and tender. Our server was very attentive and agreeable to make some changes for us including desert. So all in all an enjoyable experience and one that MUST be had when in Miami Beach!

Waiting for 45 minutes past your reservation time to be seated, after being consigned to wait in a bar area that felt as crowded as an Ellis Island ferry, is not the experience I was looking for on a Sunday evening. That really colored my experience, and led me to conclude that this restaurant, which I've dined at many times before, is vastly overrated. Once seated, the restaurant decibel level dropped by about 50% and it's a relaxing room to dine in. The food was average – – the baked potato with stiff and starchy, although the stone crabs and filet mignon were cooked very well. Our server Sebastian was very professional, although I would've preferred that he offered us a dessert menu rather than seeming to push only Key lime pie, which I'm not a fan of, as the only thing he mentioned,

We ordered two fillets one medium rare the other medium both overcooked one well done and the other medium well. Understandable; mistakes happen in a busy kitchen but not to send a manager and at least try to comp. a desert is in poor taste in a high end restaurant such as this one. Truth be told I probably wouldn't have accepted the deserts or just increased my gratuity to the server by the same amount, the gesture would have been appreciated. That being said the server and ambience were excellent and the stone crabs never disappoint. I would return but attention to detail and service should be paramount at Joe's.

As usual the entire experience was outstanding. The fried chicken as an appetizer was a great choice. And naturally the stone crabs were over the top with the potatoes and spinach.

So I am thinking of Joe's Stone Crab as THE PLACE to go to for delicious fresh seafood and despite of spending close to $700 for a party of 3, I was extremely disappointed with the Florida lobsters I was served with. They were overcooked. Burned to no recognition. So you think that a seafood place would know how to cook lobster!!!

My wife and I like visiting Joe's Stone Crab, Restaurant. In this ocassion to cellebrate her birthday because she loves it. We invited a couple to come along with us. Everything as expected: our table, Kosta a Greek great waiter, stone crab, creme spinach, Alvarino wine and two spectaculta desserts to share (Keylime and a chocolate brownie). What else can someone ask for!

The food was wonderful, but our waiter wasn't very friendly to us; he often scolded us for moving cutlery or plates, and it was clear he just wanted to serve more tables. He wasn't at all the kind of waiter you'd want to have a similar experience with again.
