SuViche – Sushi and Ceviche

This place is more of a miss than a hit. I first moved to Miami Beach three years ago and used to order their chicken chaufa for dinner at least once a week since I don’t cook but stopped doing so about a year and a half ago because I kept getting like burnt tasting chicken and undercooked rice. Even though they would replace the item, it would require me to walk back to the store after getting home and seeing the quality.
I tried the location again after they changed the menu a bit and they were offering the chicken dish for $12 so I picked it up yesterday and even though the chicken was overcooked (some were too tough to even chew) and only a few rice pieces were undercooked, it was kind of flavorful. I would order it again if I am tired of ordering from my usual spots, but just make sure to check the quality before you walk out with your takeout order.

Really delicious food and also one of the few places that offers gluten-free sushi options in a clear way. I wanted to place an order for delivery and was able to call and spoke with Stephanie who helped me tremendously figure out what to order and what could be accommodated for my gluten-free kid. Highly recommend.

The BEST food in all of Miami Beach! Everything else at the beach is over priced and mediocre (at best). SuViche even has a food and drink happy hour which consists of half off certain menu items! This is the place I come back to any time I’m at the beach and I bring someone new along each time!

Better than nobu. Skip the performative fuss and go to Suviche for proper Japanese and Peruvian food. The sushi was excellent, all the fish was top notch and the staff are very sweet

Not my first time eating here, nor will it be my last. Delicious and affordable ceviche in an environment that feels like a welcome break from the gaudy decadence of Miami. Austin’s friendly and humbling - be sure to ask for him when you come in to eat!
