Not a typical South Beach bar in a good way. Brew their own range of beers. The beers feel quite Belgian in vibe and strength. Also had a few other local craft beers on tap when we were in. Friendly atmosphere and good service.
Deeper inland from midtown, but recommend going to sample the beers. Inside it's dark but has a pool table and dart board. Beers are excellent, more Belgian styles but also IPAs too. Quads and BA are very good and the stout is perfect. Next door is Yard Bird so an option to eat. Worth making the trip/visit.

Abbey Brewing Company is a cozy bar located off the beaten path with a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors enjoy the wide selection of beers, the jukebox, and hot dogs. The bartender is fantastic, creating a welcoming environment for both locals and tourists. The place also offers decent liquor options. The owner brews his own beers on tap and they are all amazing. The Kölsch, Stout, and Oktoberfest were my favorites. The bartenders are all extremely personable and will recognize you after a visit. The staff was very attentive and kindly informed visitors that they were welcome to bring their own food inside. It's a cool vibe and worth the effort.
