Jardim De Portugal

Visited on a quiet Sunday. At first thought maybe we had made a mistake, but we stayed. Glad we did. Food was good and service was friendly but maybe could use a little more practice. I would def go again because I love Portuguese food and there isn't much of it where I live now. Between the table we had steaks, shrimp and clams. Everything was good. But I wish it was easier to get more bread to soak up all the sauce! Nice place looked like a vacation kind of place.

Jardim de Portugal had long been saved as a bookmark on yelp, we are talking for years. Sadly, it was one of many that I did not get to while living in Miami. The restaurant was only tending to three tables when we walked in, a Saturday around 7pm. I would say no reservations are needed. Consider it if you are a big party, maybe. The place is cozy and clean. It is not fancy yet you still get to a table with a nice tablecloth. Somehow that's always a plus for me. Friendly and welcoming service.
