Cozy ambiance and yummy food! I came here for an early dinner with my mom around 5pm on a Saturday- this is a great place to take a parent. It has a bit of a classic old school restaurant vibe. We shared the endive salad, I had the scallops and she had the octopus. The food took a bit longer than expected to come out (maybe 25 min for the entrees) but it was ok because it's such a nice place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Sapore Di Mare is one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove, and the closest thing to Italy that you can get outside of Italy. Their cheese bowl truffle pasta is out of this world. The authentic food and high quality ingredients don't come with a cheap price tag, but it is still a wonderful place to dine. They have live music and ocean themed decor, which fits the nautical vibe. Our server was attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed at all times.
