I was in Miami for a few days, and we decided to try this halal spot. It was AMAZING!We had the family platter (we were three people), and it was more than enough.The price/quality ratio was really good. The service was excellent and friendly.They have a wide variety of desserts. I highly recommend the Crème brûlée cheesecake.I definitely recommend the place and will definitely go back on my next trip to Miami.
Located in the old Array Eatery space, on the corner of 36th Street, is the newest location of Shahs of Kabob. I had a chance to stop by early this week for a quick bite. Garnished with sumac, the mix of chick peas, tahini sauce and citrus was creamy and well flavored. Their Joojeh (chicken kabob) I enjoyed was juicy and also well seasoned and came on a plate with steamed tomatoes and a generous helping of white rice powdered with yellow saffron. This place rocks grilled meats. If you like authentic Persian food, eat here. We came with Iranian friends who advised this was the real deal and it did not disappoint. If you get a meat platter, the bread underneath, soaked with au jus is mouthwatering. The eggplant, yogurt dishes, and everything here is yummy. Save room for dessert because they share the place with a cake bakery that is unbelievably good.
