I’ve been eating at this Vicky Bakery for the past few months, and the food and service are, truthfully, outstanding. I always order the same meal: steak and eggs with a latte and Cuban toast. The quality control is consistent every time. Julie, the manager, is heavily involved in day-to-day operations. Vicky Bakery East Flagler serves good food at normal prices with amazingly friendly and courteous staff. The place is super clean and always full of customers. Visitors should grab a number upon entering and browse the pastries. The coffee and pastries are delicious, with the coconut pastry being a favorite. The bistec and guava pastries are also delicious. The bakery offers the best croquettes and breakfast, with fast service. The tray of assorted cupcakes is freshly made, just like the orange juice. They have a variety of very delicious desserts. Vegetarian options include salads and spinach. There is plenty of parking in a complete square. The location is kid-friendly with tables, chairs, and an ice cream parlor. It is wheelchair accessible, as local people open the door for those who need it. Knowing a little bit of Spanish may make the visit easier, but it is worth checking out regardless.
