“We are visiting the Miramar Beach/Destin area for the first time, and came across Dunes Rolled Ice Cream when searching for ice cream. All I can say is “Wow”! This is delicious— made from scratch, rolled ice cream, with just cream and added ingredients. It is so fresh and delicious, and appropriately priced for a made-to-order, locally owned shop— the owner was literally rolling ice cream for us! (I have had the cherry blitz twice— so good!!) They have lots of other items, including scooped ice cream, boba, and even breakfast sandwiches. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!“

“I was craving a chocolate malt really bad Saturday 9/20/25, night. I went in about 9pm and the young man that was in there, I believe his name was Jalen (?). I asked him if they made malts and he was a bit confused about what it was and after I explained it was a shake with powdered malt in it, he said they didn’t have any. I thanked him and walked out. I was almost to my car and he came running out to stop me and tell me he found the malt!! I went back in and he made me a chocolate malt! It was so delicious and definitely hit the spot. It would’ve been so easy to just let me go and I would’ve never known any different, but he went out of his way to look for the malt and then chase after me and I just wanted someone to know what a great job he did! “We absolutely loved our stop at the Häagen Dazs shop in Silver Sands Premium Outlets, just moments from Destin. The delicious sundaes, shakes, and waffle cones were a hit with us. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the charming atmosphere made our visit feel really special. The ice cream even tasted sweeter since my daughter paid. It is the perfect treat during outlet shopping and something we will definitely go back for.“

The two guys working behind the counter are very friendly, and always playing around and teasing. It’s apparent they love their work and their customer service is top notch. “This place was SOOO good. I really like coconut and mango and I always get them when I’m getting gelato. The thing is, they don’t all taste as good as the one I had here. I don’t live around here, but I came to visit, it was absolutely amazing!! It was so creamy and had such a great flavor. This may also seem weird, but the gelato didn’t seem like it was too cold or too hot, which DOES happen. They also have really good flavors of everything and the place has a little area outside to sit!!“

“Tried a few cookies from Crumbl and they were pretty solid. The chocolate strawberry cheesecake was rich and sweet, with a nice balance of fruit and chocolate. The snickerdoodle skillet was warm and soft with that classic cinnamon sugar flavor—probably my favorite of the bunch. The double chocolate chip was super fudgy, almost like a brownie, and the cookies & cream tres leches was soft and creamy, though a bit on the sweeter side. Overall, a fun treat—definitely on the heavier side, but good to share.“

“*make sure you are not on a time schedule* The donuts are great and fresh. The breakfast sandwiches are huge. I would go again but only when we have time. There was only a few couples in front of us and we waited 10 min to order and 25 minutes for 3 donuts and two sandwiches. We were leaving town and on a schedule so we were frustrated with the timeline BUT everything tasted great!“

Some complain that they cost too much, they should just go somewhere else. I thought it was worth it. It's like buying a car. Can a car really be worth $100,000? “It’s expensive but it’s pretty yummy. $5.99 for an ice cream cone, $6.99 with a waffle cone that wasn’t warm. But you can taste free samples before buying and there are lots of caramels and chocolates to buy. The mall is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy your sweet treat! 🍦
