“Since moving to the area from Chicago, we've been looking for some great BBQ. We've found it at Willy's! Ribs and pulled pork were very good and so flavorful that you didn't need any sauce. But the sauce and sides complimented the meat. We will be back.”

The eel? Properly brave: rich, glossy, balanced, and the kind of bite that makes you realise you've been settling for mediocre unagi elsewhere. Sashimi here is the point. Perfect cuts, zero ragged edges, fish that tastes alive, and knife work that shows restraint instead of ego. Wagyu lands exactly where it should — decadent, but not a blunt instrument. And the handmade pieces (the ones you eat by hand, as they should be) are absurdly good: tight rice, clean seasoning, and toppings that don't bully the fish. The little mats set the vibe — intimate, focused, quietly playful — and the service is all signal, no noise. Just a two-person team slinging it all with calm precision, timing everything, watching the room, and never dropping the thread. If you want safe, boring sushi, go elsewhere. If you want skill, nerve, and genuinely great eating, Norigami is it. What I loved most is the judgement. Every “brave” choice still feels disciplined — no stunt toppings, no sloppy heat, no sweet sauces drowning things. It's umami, texture, temperature: warm rice against cool fish, crisp where you want it, soft fat where it matters. And because it's only two of them, you're not getting conveyor-belt energy. You're getting eyes-up hospitality and pacing that actually respects the food. Orlando doesn't deserve something this dialled-in. But you do. Sit down, eat with your hands, and let the cuts do the talking....”

“I love this place, however I had an experience on 5/1 that I wasn’t thrilled with and it’s very difficult to find a way to contact to give feedback so I had to resort to a FB review. My mom and I visited on 5/1. Our server spilled most of a Champagne Papi onto my lap. I totally understand mistakes happen, however, not once did anyone ask me if I needed anything. The server (I have the name but don’t want to blast all over FB) never asked me if I was Ok, she just simply said she’d be right back with another one, but it was all of the floor, my shorts, my shirt and splashed my mom across the table. I thought maybe she’d be right back with napkin or towel but she didn’t, so I went to the bathroom to try to clean up, but so surprised that no one ever followed up with me. I’m not sure if maybe she was so embarrassed that she didn’t want to tell anyone, or what happened, but I sat in wet shorts the entire time. Thankfully, the pink dye came out of everything, but still am surprised no one ever checked in. Maybe this is standard for you guys, but I wanted to share in case this is not normal.”

“Local Gem We live a 15 minute stroll from Mangoni's Italian Market, but at "feels like" temps hovering around 105°, strolling to lunch hasn't been as attractive ? Sunday, hubby wanted a relaxing lunch with sangria! So, we drove (& charged our EV in the parking garage). We had the entire patio to ourselves, as diners likely expected unbearable heat. Mangoni's pergola and great ceiling fans made patio dining the experience we wanted---even when the afternoon storm blew up from the west, we were protected from rain. We enjoyed our favorite, GF goat cheese pizza, with our sangria. Unlike most places, Mangoni's GF crust is an excellent, thin cauliflower crust. And, it’s not an upcharge. We also enjoyed meeting Georgia, the regional manager, who chatted with us about the social hour (11-6pm weekdays). She made a GF garlicky cheesy Flatbread for us to try--now we have more reason to stroll (or drive) over! Oh, and take away is a frequent option. Really, Mangoni's is a local gem.”

“Our first time here last night for Jimmy Buffett day hosted by Rob Nicholas. Highly recommend this place. The food was amazing and our server was the best we have ever had. The owners Courtney and Steve treated us fantastic. They gave us special gifts for coming and were always around talking to everybody. They made us feel so welcome. Plus you can rent boats here and there is an Inn if u want to spend the night. We will definitely be back. Very worth the drive. Beautiful evening view as well to end the evening.”

“Cookies were good, the Cotton Candy was our best, then second was the Oreo birthday cake, then the basic chocolate chip and last was the peanut butter Munch. I am a huge peanut butter lover and the peanut butter Munch slacked on peanut butter flavor but it was still ok. The cookies are slightly pricey, so definitely not something we will be doing on a regular. But not bad for our first time.”

Anything with salsa Verde works well for me, particularly the wet burrito. They have a decent mole sauce as well! And the owners are sweet and happy to have you there. Wish we could bring in a crowd, the food is worth coming to Ocoee for.”

“I adore Fresh Kitchen - the best restaurant I've found in the area to eat a gluten/dairy/meat free dinner that is also low in salt! That's because two of the managers know my restrictions and automatically put together a delicious bowl that I can safely eat (rice, chickpeas, kale, red pepper, almond slices, etc) - and it's delicious! Yesterday, I took my bowl home, added fresh sliced peaches and avocado, enough then to split into two meals. It was awesome.”
