Good food, good service and Amazing Bananas Foster which I never liked until I had it here!
Enjoyed the cocktails and service was very good. This place nickels and dimes you for basic add ons. Paid extra for green beans with a few pieces of almond slivers and 3 or 4 cranberries….and it was cold. Mashed potatoes were also cold. Asked for sides of mushrooms and sautéed onions for our filets and for an extra $2 each we got literally 3 pieces of onion and a spoonful of mushrooms.
The steaks were decent but not worth $50 each.

We visit Pisces Rising several times a year and love their food and drink, happy hour is great. They do need to alter their recipe for the Poke Stack.....it's all fresh, but had a huge top layer of wonton and thick bottom layer of rice, making the whole thing really dry. If they just eliminated those items, it would be much better.

Pisces Rising offers outstanding food and excellent service in a nice old-school atmosphere. The restaurant excels in catering events, exceeding expectations with amazing food and professional service. It is a top shelf Mount Dora establishment with a nice outdoor patio/bar area, upscale indoor dining area, and a very swanky formal indoor bar. Food and appetizers are great, and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. The hostess(es) are also great, and the atmosphere is excellent. It is a go-to Mount Dora place. Service was great, food fantastic, and drinks on the deck perfect. It is refreshing to enjoy a consistently enhanced dining experience. Pisces never disappoints. It is a must visit if you want a scenic view overlooking the lake. The outdoor patio was very dog friendly and it was a relaxing, cool vibe. The salad with marinated steak tips was inedible due to being so sour. Recently, guests enjoyed meals like Filet Mignon & Scallops, which were delicious, hot, and included requests such as sautéed mushrooms and side sauces. The Caesar salad with fresh anchovies and grilled Halibut was also praised for being perfectly cooked and flavorful. Visitors appreciated attentive service and the beautiful lake view, making the experience even better. Overall, Pisces Rising remains a favorite for good food, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere.
