This bistro is amazing! Such a cute little place where you can comfortably chat, sitting either inside or outside on the patio. John, the owner, is so friendly and always managed to stop by and say hi. My favorite for dinner was the Pork Au Pruneaux - so delicious. I also highly recommend the Champagne Brunch if you're there on a weekend, it's a tasty tower of food for a really good price.
I will never turn down French food, because I see so little of it in Florida. The Mount Dora Bistro has all my favorites, escargot and potato/leek soup and cassoulet and… I could go on, but just check out the menu.
My only regret is that I’m watching how much I eat, so I couldn’t over-order. I went with friends and everyone loved their meals.

Even though we are locals, it was our first time eating here. Simple but elegant and European decor. Extremely friendly and professional staff. I had the soup of the day and the salad Nicoise and was instantly reminded of our visits to Nice, France. Delicious. My husband had the French Onion Soup the Pear et Praline salad and we shared the French dip baguette. We were extremely pleased with the food and service.
