Caffe Portofino Italian Bakery

Great little italian bakery that offers pizza, sandwiches and other typical fare. I was first introduced to it at work where someone had them deliver these massive grinders. I had the Chicken Parm and it hit the spot. I finally made my way over there today. It is in the strip wall right off of Neapolitan which seems to be a hotbed of cafe/market/eateries. Exquisite Italian Bakery & pizzeria, absolutely loved the Rum Babas & apricot tart! Ordered a rum cake for my Dads bday, looking forward to tasting it! Only thing I wish they offered is Italian espresso & cappuccino. :)

This pizza/bakery is in the Neopolitan plaza just South of Pine Ridge, on 41, on the last side. Anyway- it's amazing! What a delight to walk in to glass cases overflowing with Italian pastries, cheese cakes and cookies/biscotti by the pound- and packaged up in a box with string. Most of all- delicious!
