“For our first time coming here, everything was so delicious! We came to try the old bay wet wings and various other dishes. The establishment was nice and staff courteous and attentive. Our food was extremely delicious and came out in a timely manner. Our waiter Luke is a hidden gem and a great asset to this establishment. He definitely made an enjoyable experience that much better. Thank you Luke and Gator Dockside!! We will definitely be back soon!”

“A friend and I had lunch here for the first time this week. Love the atmosphere. So inviting and comfortable. It was packed at lunch. You order at the counter. Jamie took our order and made some wonderful suggestions. We settled on the Asian Noodle Bowl with the in-house made peanut sauce............fantastic! We also had the black bean and sweet potato enchiladas. They were yummy. Both dishes were generous portions. Looking forward to going again!”

“We visited this place last Tuesday, 5 star for their drinks and bartender.. loved their drinks.. don’t forget to try bramble. They have tequila Tuesday specials and whiskey Wednesday specials( good deals). Bar tender was super cool that she made us peligroso drink though they don’t carry it. She made it by checking ingredients online and rocked it. Would definitely come back.”

“There were not a lot of people there. The place smelled so good when we pulled up. Our food came and my husband's and son's food was burnt. The shrimp was like rubber and scorched. Half of my food came out about 10 minutes after the rest. The waitresses were helpful but 1 spoke more English than the others it was not always easy to communicate our needs. My husband ordered the quesadilla loco but he was not crazy impressed...the opposite.”

“As you can see from the photos that the interior of the restaurant is very similar to many restaurants with dividers and glossy tables etc. etc. nothing incredibly ostentatious. I would like for Newberry Florida to have a place like Clearwater Florida did with chopsticks restaurant. They had big beautiful Chinese silk murals with gold threads in them and Buddha statues that look like they were made out of golden awesome resin tables with different kinds of Chinese design work underneath the coating just gorgeous but in the end the food there is not a whole lot different than what you can get here at the red wok. My biggest problem is I can’t get all of my Chinese favorites there all the time and you really have to go at the start of that meal whether it’s lunch or dinner otherwise it gets dried out and raunchy. So it is your responsibility to go early for dinner at five and early for lunch by noon just eat your favorites and stay away from things that you don’t know. Know that you won’t get all of your favorites there but that you’ll get enough”

“Small family Chinese restaurant with everything you expect from a NY style Chinese restaurant. Chicken fried rice is good and a decent price. Their lunch specials are a great value and worth stopping and trying. It gets busy during lunch because of the quality and price.

“Have known Rocky for years. Stopped in on 18 October 2022, the food and service was excellent as always. The disappointment was in the cleanliness of the restuarant. The table I was at had a layer or two of dust at the end by the window. It also had residue stuck on the table in the center. The back rest to the benches where dirty black and had not been cleaned in a good while. The windows had not been cleaned in a while, little kids hand prints could be seen all over them. I stopped in at early lunch.”
