“Such a fun find! I contacted the restaurant mid week and heard back from Omar, who turned out to be the owner. He explained what they would do to accommodate my dietary preferences (plant based, no oil).
I also mentioned my almost 95 YO Dad who is a meat eater but loves meat free veggie fajitas and was very excited about the possibility of Tequila’s pineapple fajitas. I got them as well (modified for me). Husband had a delicious burrito. Guacamole is wonderful too.
Service was excellent and staff sported many smiles.
Servings are generous.
Very good value for the money.
And after watching guests celebrating their birthdays, Dad wants to go for his.

“5-17-24 Bubbakoo’s Burritos on Pine Island Rd : Stopped by Bubbakoo’s for a Steak and shrimp Burrito as I had this before and loved it. My wife chose the Steak & Shrimp Bowl instead of the burrito. We got there near 12 and it was not full for a Friday. This place is neat and clean and laid out nicely so you can find everything fast. You order what you want at the counter, and they give you the option to build your own or they can build it for you. I chose for them to build it except I wanted extra sour cream on mine and that was not a problem. My wife built her own with a little of everything in it. All their ingredients looked very fresh as they added all the items inside my burrito and her bowl. The Steak & Shrimp was on the flat top being made fresh also. We got our order very quick and headed to a table to eat it. My Burrito was large and as full as they could make it, everything inside was hot and tasted fresh. My only complaint was some of the Steak was a little tough and chewy, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I believe it was a little over done. My wife’s Steak & Shrimp bowl was full of the ingredients she ordered. She stated it tasted fresh and everything was hot, but her Steak was chewy also. I ate my entire large burrito, and my wife not only ate all the items inside the bowl, she even ate some of the bowl itself. All in all we ordered some of the most expensive items on the menu but it was very good and well worth the price. Our total bill was around 40 dollars. They do have cheaper items on the menu, but everyone should at least try their Steak & Shrimp burrito or bowl once. I will give this place a 4 or of 5 thumbs up. I have known the existing Manager since 2016 when she was my favorite Server (Linda Escobar). She is so worthy of the higest recognition because she is a hands on Manager who often joins forces with the Serving Team to ensure that every Customer receives prompt, friendly, and courteous Service. It's very evident that she has trained her staff members to provide only the best customer service experience. The food is quality is exceptionally good!“

“I was one of their first customers 10 years ago. Many taquerias come and go. Yet La Poblanita is still here. By far the best taqueria in SWFL.

It's extremely hard to match or beat the taste of their carne asada tacos or the steak plate. Their homemade chips and 3 different salsas are very unique and offers great flavor.

The amount of food you get to what you spend, definitely makes it worth it.“

At one time in history this little plaza was a huge hit in Fort Myers during spring training back in the 50’s 60’s and 70’s.
The food is great and the owners who run this restaurant are there to make sure you are taken care of.
Avoid the chains and visit the locals who wish to continue serving traditional Mexican foods.

“I’ve been coming to Taco Pancho since 2013. I moved to the Tampa area in 2018 and I can’t find any Mexican place there that gets even close to how amazing their food is! I drove all the way from Tampa to Cape Coral on 4th of July weekend just to have a taste of the best Mexican food in Florida!!!
