“Had an amazing lunch at La Fondita this afternoon. My husband and I both loved our meals. Also devoured the chips and salsa placed at our table. The salsa was sooooo delicious and fresh tasting, could not get enough! So good. I had the chicken fajitas and it was a huge portion. My leftovers were used for my supper and I still have some left! My husband had a shredded beef chimichanga and said it was amazing. He also had enough to take home as a second meal. The service was impeccable. Super polite, kind people. Food came out very quickly. We for sure will be back.“

“Habaneros Mexican Grill North Ft. Myers Fl Stopped by here on a Saturday night at 6 ish. Place was not that full, and we got a booth right away. This place is clean, neat, and decorated beautifully inside. Our waiter was Johnny on the spot with our drinks and food orders. My wife and I both ordered the Pina Loca which consisted of a Grilled Pineapple filled with Grilled Chicken, Steak, Shrimp, Bell Peppers, Onions, and Tomatoes topped with melted Cheese. On the side was Rice Beans, Lettice, Sour Cream, Guacamole and Tortillas. Our friends ordered the Fiesta Bowl with Steak, Black Beans, Picao De Gallo, and Ranch Dressing. We had a table full of Nachos and Salsa for our appetizers and when our main course dinners came out, they looked amazing. All our food was very good. All was very hot and plenty of it. They did come by and refilled our chips and Salsa. Our waiter checked on us many times. Our friends got the Fried Ice Cream for desert which they said was very good, but I was to full to try any. This was a great experience for all of us. The Food was good, hot, and service was spot on. FYI, they do have a Mariachi Band every other Sunday night and they have an outside Patio if you wanted to dine outside. You must put this on your stop by list you won’t be sorry I know I wasn’t. “I have been coming to this restaurant for 9 years and it never disappoints. The chicken tacos are absolutely amazing and the guacamole dip is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Everything always tastes so fresh and authentic. You can truly tell they care about the quality of their food and service.

Another thing I really appreciate is how clean the restaurant always is, especially the bathrooms. It’s rare to find a place that stays this consistent for so many years. This has become one of my favorite comfort spots and I’ll never stop coming back. Highly recommend!“

“5-17-24 Bubbakoo’s Burritos on Pine Island Rd : Stopped by Bubbakoo’s for a Steak and shrimp Burrito as I had this before and loved it. My wife chose the Steak & Shrimp Bowl instead of the burrito. We got there near 12 and it was not full for a Friday. This place is neat and clean and laid out nicely so you can find everything fast. You order what you want at the counter, and they give you the option to build your own or they can build it for you. I chose for them to build it except I wanted extra sour cream on mine and that was not a problem. My wife built her own with a little of everything in it. All their ingredients looked very fresh as they added all the items inside my burrito and her bowl. The Steak & Shrimp was on the flat top being made fresh also. We got our order very quick and headed to a table to eat it. My Burrito was large and as full as they could make it, everything inside was hot and tasted fresh. My only complaint was some of the Steak was a little tough and chewy, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I believe it was a little over done. My wife’s Steak & Shrimp bowl was full of the ingredients she ordered. She stated it tasted fresh and everything was hot, but her Steak was chewy also. I ate my entire large burrito, and my wife not only ate all the items inside the bowl, she even ate some of the bowl itself. All in all we ordered some of the most expensive items on the menu but it was very good and well worth the price. Our total bill was around 40 dollars. They do have cheaper items on the menu, but everyone should at least try their Steak & Shrimp burrito or bowl once. I will give this place a 4 or of 5 thumbs up. “This past Saturday, we went to an amazing bar in Downtown Fort Myers called Escondito. It’s this private, hidden bar tucked away behind freezer doors in the back of a little hole‑in‑the‑wall taco shop called Taco Works. You absolutely do not expect to find a fancy bar behind a taco place, but that surprise is part of the fun. We loved it. Jordan is our favorite bartender — he makes every drink with perfection. The whole staff is so nice and professional, the drinks are delicious, and for a short moment you really do feel like you’re part of an elite secret club. Leaving the bar, my husband wanted to try the tacos. Our plan was to order one each, but Joe who took our order had other plans. He was incredibly nice and oddly hilarious. Somehow our order went from two tacos to tacos, burritos, and nachos. While waiting, we talked with Joe about living here for two months and the places we were thinking of trying next. In the funniest way, with a completely serious tone, he shut down every idea we had and offered “better” locations. He suggested a BBQ spot and an Italian/sushi place he’s never been to personally but swears by. We were laughing the whole time, when our food was ready, we met “the Two Roberts,” the man who handed us our order was so sweet with the sweetest smile, you just wanted to give him a hug, They were working hard but still made time sure the customers were treated with politeness and a smile and everything they made was phenomenal the tacos, nachos, and burritos were all amazing, on the way home, my husband suddenly burst out laughing. Something Joe said earlier went over our heads at the time, and it hit him out of nowhere. Later that night, we looked up the BBQ place Joe recommended, and the BBQ place he told us "we had to try" is actually inside another Taco Works. That had us Howling. Almost two days later while I’m exhausted and trying to sleep, I hear my husband getting off the phone laughing again to the point I had to check and turns out the Italian/sushi place Joe “swears by” is also part of Taco Works. Now I’m wide awake laughing too. Since I cant sleep might as well tell our story. Joe absolutely got us, and he deserves this review. Thank you, Taco Works — we will be back!“

“We have been dining at this restaurant since it first opened in Cape Coral. After a mixed beginning with inconsistent meals (5-star/ 3-star). When the Proprietor, Florencio, came on the scene the food, service, decor and everything you want in an authentic Mexican restaurant quickly caught its stride and El Tarasco (and its new daughter restaurant over on Hancock Bridge Pkwy) is our "go to" restaurant for Mexican food. 5 Stars!“
