Welcomed and seated right away even without reservations. Dinner for 2. We had a bottle of red wine. All the wines are Spanish. Steak tartare was amazing. Foie gras was creamy. Pumpkin rice was yummy. Duck cooked to perfection. Even the espresso was frothy and rich. The final touch: Basque cheesecake was next level.
Small place, went in with no reservation with my wife and hardly got a spot at the little bar during a busy Wednesday. Got taken care of by someone who I would assume owns the place, and all of the staff seemed like they were in a family in a good way. Food was incredible, great regional execution, can definitely tell the French and Spanish influence. Definitely a spot for a high quality meal even if you don't know what you're getting into.
