“We had heard such great things about Maggiore Bistro, that we wanted to go check it out ourselves. It was wonderful! The vibe, the food and service was excellent. We went went on a Wednesday night when their weekly special was baby back ribs. They were fall off the bone tender! We also had the margarita pasta which was delicious as well! And the berry sangria was tasty as well. We topped off our meal with a strawberry shortcake dessert that was so delicious. We will definitely go back and try more entrees off their wonderful menu.“
“We have lived in the area for a couple of years and have been looking for a place like this. This local bar is very accepting and diverse. It is a beer and wine bar with a food truck behind the bar that serves things like burgers and hot dogs and Cuban sandwich we understand. They have recently expanded their business and are having more diverse activities like drag bingo which seems to be very popular. This is a nice addition to the neighborhood. Great job Leslie (the owner). We will come back and tell our friends about this place as well. If the food truck isn’t open, there is a wonderful restaurant at the opposite end of the strip mall, just steps away, where you can get your favorite food items.“
“Table service was a little slow. Food was delicious & received it soon after we placed our order. Only had 1 meal consisting of 3 Fish Tacos with rice & beans that me & my husband shared. We sat outside on a tiki hut picnic table which was very nice as the River is right there too. Several people brought their dogs. So it's dog friendly too!“
“The moment I walked in I thought I was home. It’s a great looking DIY punk rock style kava bar. The tenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. It being a music venue was awesome to see. I’ll be enjoying the pool tables the next time I stop by.“

“So lucky to have found this restaurant. We were a bit late going out at 8:00 and while most places nearby turned us away, Englewoods was very welcoming and cheerful! Such a positive and happy feeling place. We wished we had returned here the next night too! We would definitely stop by next time, if we returned to this part of Florida again.We really enjoyed the schnitzel and spätzle here. The mussels and the ceviche were also excellent.Very kind and truly dog friendly.“

“5 stars for the best ahi tuna tacos this side of Hawaii. Fresh catch of the day served out of the permanent food truck. Friendly chef and bar service in this little hole in the wall under a tiki on the water. Laid back Old Florida lawn chair on the dock vibe. I'm so glad there are still places like this.“
