Lunch time. The food was amazing. My recommendation is el pollo guisado, rice and plantain 😋 las chuletas a la jardinera 😉. As a 💯 boricua I recommend their flavor, super good. Love it!! Super good service too.
Love her Puerto Rican cooking. . Empanadas and alcapurrias and tostones are not greasy at all. My husband and I have tried various dishes and especially loves the oxtail and stew chicken, rice and beans. Everything that we have tried has been very tasty.
Definitely will continue to go back when I do not feel like cooking. Definitely will try to be there for ribbon-cutting on June 6.
Maria and David.😋
My wife and my sister-in-law came here Friday out of the blue as we were in the area, and let me tell you all this place is amazing we loved everything about it, but the love and attention we got was just wonderful and beyond average the food was a 10/10 everything we tried we will definitely be back not only when we are in the area, but we will be back just because! This is a place worth of the drive. Can’t wait till next time and hey I want my “tacita” for my coffee next...read full review

Based on the reviews, Puerto Rican Spice Restaurant offers authentic criollo style food that tastes like eating at the island. The food is incredibly delicious, full of authentic flavor, and just great. Popular dishes include Papas Locas with steak, Mofongo with pernil, arroz mamposteado, maduros amarillos, and shrimp in creamy garlic sauce. The beef, beef and cheese, cheese pizza, and guava and cheese empanadas are all fantastic. The "el platonazo" dish works perfectly for three people. The rice and fried pork are absolutely delicious. Garlic shrimp with yucca and sweet plantains is delicious, and on Thursdays, the oxtail is the most delicious. The churrasco steak is cooked perfectly med-rare with Chimay sauce and pickled onions. Desserts include tres leches and homemade flan, which is made with cheese and some of the best ever eaten. The service is very professional, excellent, fast, and reliable. The staff is nice and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. The pricing is more than fair, reasonable, and definitely priced right for the quality and portions.
