“A wonderful meal last night was a last-minute decision following a flight delay nearby airport. Walked in seated at a table in the bar room. Kim was our server. Wonderful all around! Have eaten here several times but she had so many interesting and perfect menu options that were all new to me. She definitely knows her stuff! Our party enjoyed the Wagu Ribeye, the braised, beef and cheese ravioli special, and the chicken marsala. Appetizers wonderful house salad resembling Columbia‘s famous 1905, and Stone crab appetizer two claws, two dipping sauces, and plenty of squeezed lemon. Dessert included the blueberry special crum cheesecake, chocolate, ice cream, and Bananas foster their house specialty. Wish I could remember the name of one of our party’s cocktails, it was presented to the table in a fantastic wooden box which when opened a barbecued smoke billowed out from it. A bourbon drink perhaps? Have been to numerous restaurants in the Tampa Bay area and Bascom’s hands-down has over-the-top phenomenal service start to finish. Thank you to everyone for a lovely evening meal.“

The atmosphere was great and a bowl of water for our dogs was brought to the table. Our severs name was Kenny and she was fantastic. She recommended a drink called The Painkiller. Totally loved that drink. I ordered the oysters and was surprised by the size of them. Very good and filling. Kenny was fun to talk to and happy to be around. “Great Breakfast Finally! A place where all parts of the breakfast were great. The eggs were right. The ham was thick and well seared. The grits, almost impossible to find good ones in Pinellas County, were perfect—not gummy, not watery, not bland. Service was friendly and efficient. The place is busy and lively and mostly clean (bathrooms could stand an updating.) Prices were fair. I will gladly return.“

“We have always enjoyed the food at Sea Dog. But the new menu really takes it up a few notches! We had the crab cakes (so moist and flavorful, lots of crab; 2 big crab cakes), the steak tips (cooked to perfection and the sauce is so good) for appetizers. The chicken dishes were great, tender and moist. Our favorite entrees last night were the stuffed salmon (again, cooked really well, moist and flavorful) and the truffle mushroom ravioli. Some of the best raviolis I’ve ever had. Fresh pasta, nice filling, and the port sauce is out of this world. It’s a really solid vegetarian option and Chef said it can be made vegan too without compromising the taste. For dessert, the family recipe brownies are a must, and the blueberry crumble was fantastic. I’m so glad there’s great food on the beach in a casual and fun environment!“

“I had very low expectations when I found this place on Google maps I was just hungry. Pulling into the parking lot my expectations didn't improve. But all that changed when we walked through the doors. the staff were sincerely nice and efficient. What was a pleasant surprise was the food was actually very good. My daughter ordered the pasta with lobster. She loved it. Mine was a salmon with crab on top. The sauce was rich and flavorful. The broccoli that came with my entree was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also had the mussels and clams. The seafood in every dish was fresh. What stood out was we got this great service and incredible food at a really reasonable price“
