I’ve passed it by so many times thinking it wasn’t good since it looked empty. I’m glad I stopped in this time! It was awesome. I had the chicken soup and a mixed pupusa. Both were amazing. I’ll be back!

Shared the Jalapeño, cheese, pork and frijoles Pupusa and and an order of the (4) Birria tacos with my husband. We were so excited we forgot to take photos of the food.
Both came out fresh and super delicious. My husband is an incredible chef and declared the birria broth to be the best he’s had in a long time.

Pupusería y Cafetería - Bonanza Restaurant in Oakland Park is an authentic and original Hispanic food restaurant. The food is awesome, excellent, super delicious, and very fresh, with each dish feeling made with an artist's touch. Highly recommended items include the very authentic and fresh pupusas, such as the mixed pupusa or the jalapeño, cheese, pork and frijoles pupusa, which comes with a fresh cabbage slaw. The birria tacos and birria broth are declared the best. For breakfast, the huevos rancheros and divorciados al chilaquiles are super fresh and flavorful. Other excellent dishes are the chicken soup and the shrimp spaghetti, with a homemade jamaica drink noted as refreshing. The restaurant is very, very clean. The service is wonderful, warm, authentically friendly, super helpful, and sweet. With great prices, generous portions, and beautiful presentation, it is a go-to spot where customers cannot wait to come back.
