“"Went to Firehouse Subs on Hwy 200 in Ocala today during lunch, and I’m torn on this one. The subs are solid—got the Hook & Ladder, and it was hot, loaded with meat, and tasty as always. The staff were polite and the place was clean, which I appreciate. But a 40-minute wait for a sub at 12:30 p.m.? That’s rough for a quick lunch stop. They told us up front, so props for honesty, but it threw off my whole day. Seems like they were slammed and understaffed. Food’s good when you finally get it, but don’t come here if you’re in a hurry during peak hours. Could be a 4-star spot with faster service!"“
