Been to Gator Joes many times over the years and for atmosphere it never disappoints. Visitors to my home like to go back there to read the funny things written on the overhead wood beams & to see the alligator “hand”! The setting on Lake Weir is great! THE DAMN BIRDS!!!! THEY DRIVE YOU NUTS ? ? ? ??️ it's a very nice place with a section on the side for kids to play in the sand by the lake..food is pretty good, SECOND TIME THEY HAD NO ALLIGATOR ?!!? THE place is literally called Gator Joe's and Gator is all over the menu as "Chefs Favorite" this "Chefs Favorite" that and it's all about the ?, They gave us the wrong food, the girl was nice just didn't check her food when it came out..if you turn your head for a second a bird...read full review
