7 Best Chinese Restaurants near Ocoee

“I was at Hai San years ago, and I loved it. I went back after all this time and still loved it. Good, old fashioned 1950s-1970s Chinese Food, made to perfection. They even have old school, White Sauce Chicken Chow Mein...if you understand that reference, then you know what to expect...great Chinese Food from a bygone era. If it weren't more than an hour's drive from my house by highway, I would take food out from Hai San on a regular basis. It was good years ago, and still is the best Chinese Food I have had in Central Florida!

My wife and I were staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites right near Hai San and were in the mood for Chinese food, but too tired to go out to eat, so placed an order for pickup and brought it to our room.

Although we live in Maryland, we are originally from New York. And like most New Yorkers, we are snobs when it comes to pizza, bagels and Chinese food :-)

Well, Hai San passed the snob test. We thoroughly enjoyed our order of shrimp rolls, spare ribs, and Moo Shoo Pork. Also, when we told them we were bringing the food to our hotel room, they supplied us with plates, and plastic utensils.

The food was well prepared, hot, tasty and reminded me of our take-out places in New York!“

“Went into the mall for something to eat before the movie, wasn’t sure what they’d have but the lady behind the counter offered us a sample of the bourbon chicken! Wow, chicken was so tender, rice and noodles were excellent and I’ll definitely be back.The Mall is dying, but the food court and movie theater are still beating, give He’s Kitchen a try! “We found this hidden gem yesterday while visiting another place in the plaza and were amazingly surprised. Hands down the best Chinese.The hot and sour soup as well as the vegetable low mein were deliciously prepared. Service was on point and catered to our needs. We will be back to try other menu items here. Prices were fairly reasonable for the quantity of food. The seating indoor was clean and comfortable.Highly recommend checking them out.“
