“Delicious little place to stop for lunch. I have driven by this place numerous times and finally got to stop in. I ordered a small cuban with no cheese and fries. The cuban bread was fresh and had a great flavor on the outside of the bread where it was pressed. It was the perfect amount of meat, pickles and condiments. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich. The fries, they are SOOO good too! Hot, crispy and salty! I'm so glad I decided to go with the small sandwich with the side of fries because they were a perfect match! Will definitely be back again hopefully very soon.“

“I have been eyeing this vegan spot for awhile. I finally stopped in today and was greeted by the nicest staff. I wanted to order EVERYTHING on the menu. Here’s what’s I ordered: Vegan Chicken Sandwich (fried Lion’s mane), mac and cheese, Lion’s mane nuggets plate with curried chickpea and potato. Side of Jerk Pasta and a Taco empanada. Way too much for me to eat in one sitting, but I wanted to try it all. It did NOT disappoint. I devoured that Vegan Chicken Sandwich. Probably the best “chicken” sandwich I’ve ever had. The mac and cheese is crave-worthy and delicious. Everything is tasty. I will be back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for offering this for health-conscious eaters. It’s rare to find vegan options like this. Ultimate comfort food😍“

“This was our first dining experience here at Black Rock. They did not disappoint whatsoever. From the time that we entered until we finished our meals, we were treated with excellent customer service. The Host - Tori, was very pleasant. Once seated, my wife and I received the most outstanding customer service (waitress, Hannah) that we’ve ever received when dining in quite a while. Not sure of the bartenders name, nonetheless, the drinks were very good also. The food was definitely worth the wait. The food was extremely well prepared. Hannah, thoroughly explained how to cook the steaks on the stone, then allowed us to enjoy our meal. (Thank you Chefs) Due to our outstanding experience, we will definitely be returning. As I mentioned to one of the managers there, it seems as though people will find something to complain about, but rarely take time out to say “Thank you.” I wanted to thank the entire staff for a great dining experience.“

At this point I started crying because I had no idea how I was going to get home. A few minutes later Jim (bartender/manager on duty) approached me and asked me my address. He said, "I'm getting you an Uber. Nobody has done something this nice for me forever. He found out how long for the ride and offered me a drink while I waited. Thank you sooo much Jim. “I learned about Penguin Pretzels after visiting Clearwater and I ordered a pretzel at Frenchys Cafe. It was amazing and probably the best pretzel I have ever had. I found out that the pretzels came from this Penguin Pretzels and when we left Clearwater I just knew we had to stop there before our next destination. We ordered online which was so easy and just pulled right up to the door and they brought it out to our car. We dug right in since they were nice and hot. Omg!! They are so fresh and so tasty!!
