“This was our go to during hurricane Helene and Milton. They were open and happy to serve! We ate here every day (YES it is THAT good!). Never had an issues, still going now about once or twice a week because the food is still so good! We are grateful to them for showing up when most of us did not have electricity and were not able to cook. The staff is always happy and friendly and food is amazing always fresh, hot and has never disappointed us! Zero issues love this place!“

“My best friend & I went here for lunch today. Jorge , the GM, stopped at our table to make sure all was ok. It was great so far. Then we got an awesome waitress, Kristina. She could not have been any better. Had everything we needed and the food was outstanding. I called and spoke to Jorge and told him how pleased we were. People are so quick to complain so Kim & I decided to tell them how happy we were with start to finish. Gators Dockside has always been my favorite restaurant, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. Went about 6pm Saturday night, Easter weekend. Was told it would be about a 20 minute and they will call you. Friendly hostess and Nico was our server. Did a great job of explaining everything, keeping our orders coming coming and making sure we were taking care of. Dude was on the move all night.

As far as cooking goes everything was fresh and on point. Crab legs broke easily, crawfish pulled apart perfectly, clams had great texture. If you're a fan of spicy then opt for the extra hot. I tried regular hot and it was hardly enough to build a sweat. The flavors were good but the heat levels didn't quite match what I expected for good cajun. Still very tasty though! Don't sleep on their appetizers either. Fried oysters were some of the best I've had, most of the chicken wings were incredible! Breaded and crisp with a nice glazed sauce, except for the honey bbq. Those seemed oddly out of place with sauce just piled over them. Everything else was awesome.

It's a nice location on a corner lot. The lighting is dimmer and sets a nice aesthetic and the music is perfect so as not to be overly distracting. Neat little decor to look at and comfortable booths. While nothing extraordinary to write home about, it felt comfortable which was perfect for the food. I dig it.“

Went back and had the shepherds pie and my husband had a sandwich. I think it was some sort of beef. He said his sandwich was excellent and my shepherds pie was very good. They are reasonably priced as well.“

He is excited to make sure that we put this restaurant in our "going out" rotation. “First time here and had a great experience. 2 adults and 1 child. We made reservations to ensure we had a spot at the hibachi table.
Our chef was Jay and he did a great job making us laugh but more importantly cooked us a great meal. I had filet, my daughter chicken and my husband did steak and tuna. My husband also ordered the green forrest roll. We also got a slice of red velvet cake to go. All the food was tasty and my daughter tried all types of new food, kid aporoved.
Patrick was our server and we had good service. He was patient with us when my daughter was indecisive and made sure we were happy with food and service.
Bathrooms were clean and all areas of the restaurant that we saw were clean and orderly. All staff members we encountered were polite and courteous. Would recommend to anyone, if you're going on the weekend and want a spot at the hibachi table make a reservation in advance.“
