“My husband and I eat here at least once a week, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fantastic, but what truly makes this place special is the people. Jared, the manager, runs an incredible team, and the staff — Camden, Haylie, Morgan, and Tiffany — are an absolute joy. They’re friendly, efficient, and always bring such a warm, genuinely funny sense of humor that makes every visit better. You’re not just served here; you’re welcomed. It’s close to home, but more importantly, it feels like home. Over time, the staff has become a beautiful extension of our family, and that kind of atmosphere is rare. We always leave full, happy, and already looking forward to the next visit. Highly recommend — this place is something special.“

“Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Pete's Diner! They very kindly arranged to deliver a turkey dinner today to my brother (who lives in Dunedin and is recovering at home after surgery). Well, they delivered a delicious meal at 2:30pm and it was truly a HOMEMADE dinner. It was EXCEPTIONAL! From the turkey, to the gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream--it was a homemade feast. We are deeply grateful to Pete's Diner for the extraordinary Thanksgiving dinner they prepared, and delivered!!!!“

“Yummy! First time giving them a try and WOW, the food exceeded our expectations. Good flavor and not salty which is a huge turn off for me. The gentleman that took my order was very pleasant. We got pollo patacones!

“I was new to Dunedin in February, 2025, and within 2 months, was invited for Brunch in April and 3 more times since for Breakfast too. We will be hosting a 70th Anniversary Party in late September for a Couple who eats there regularly, and requested to celebrate their special Day with you. I can see why. Your Restaurant is clean, your Service is stellar and your meals are delicious. I look forward to their Anniversary Brunch and hopefully, many more Future visits. Thank you for offering us all such a nice Place to eat. Much appreciated. 🥰“

“I loved everything about this establishment. I came here on a very stressful, sleep deprived morning for a comforting brunch - i was met with good coffee, delicious food, a warming environment, and a very pleasant conversation. I intend to return:) my brunch was $17 and some change - veggie skillet and 3 cups of coffee (puppy photo for the owner! he is healing well!)“

“A favorite place! My husband and I have been going here for over 20 years! Now that the original and best Chef Roger is back after an absence for a few years, it is even more fantastic and every single dish is full of quality and flavor! It was not the same when he was away. I recommend you go and enjoy Roger's amazing menu. The servers are all too notch, especially Woody, Jason, and Brittany! You can watch people on the trail and parking is free! You will enjoy your visit! Roger is the best Chef in all of Tampa Bay! Thank you Roger for coming back!“

“05/03/2025. Had a girl's night out, we stopped in Acropol, had dinner. First visit for all 3 of us.Food was WONDERFUL!!!!! Friendly, smiling staff!! OMG!! Ty was EXCELLENT in waiting on us 3, old biddies in matching flamingo shirts..lolololol We will be back!!!!!!“

“We stopped in to have breakfast and the menu had plenty of options, a traditional breakfast spot. We were quickly seated and the service was quick. I ordered a grilled cheese with a side of bacon, we also had a turkey club, blueberry pancakes and a breakfast platter. The food was good with very large portions.“

“I have been going to eve's for sometime now. The food is always great. I also just lost my wife recently and the staff has been so supportive in my time of need.“
