Fire on the Bayou Reviews
Decided to have lunch here yesterday after hearing about them on a local radio show and was NOT DISAPPOINTED! Awesome New Orleans vibe, great service and the food was incredible! Even had enough left overs for dinner.
Great experience! Servers Lindsey and Caylin provided excellent service. Made me feel real welcome. Jess and Mike are some awesome cooks! Food was amazing
I love the vibe of the restaurant with the hand painted murals floor the ceiling !!! The shrimp and grits is absolutely the Best !!!Ive tried it all over in other restaurants and they don’t come close to FOTB !!! The food is authentic family and traditional recipes from NOLA . The Bourbon Bread Pudding is delicious and the portion huge . I love everything that I’ve tried there and it’s all perfectly made with love and care 👍💗

Fire on the Bayou is a hidden gem in Orange City, offering a taste of NOLA with fantastic food and a Mardi Gras atmosphere. The three staples of New Orleans - jambalaya, gumbo, and red beans - are all lovely, with perfectly seasoned dishes. The Vader Burger and Gator Bites are a must-try, both delicious and reasonably priced. The decor features murals and lively elements that transport guests back to the French Quarter, sparking great conversations. The restaurant's engaging decor and friendly service create a welcoming environment, making it a perfect stop after a St. John's River tour. Recent visitors enjoyed the Bayou Blue burger and steak tacos, finding them tasty and satisfying. The fish and chips lunch special, priced at $11.99, impressed guests with its generous portion and delicious taste, though some found the gumbo too salty. The menu also includes creole cheese curds, poor boys, and bourbon bread pudding, all receiving praise. Many guests say that everything from shrimp and fish to the burger is top quality, with excellent service and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive without hovering, making guests feel very welcomed with good humor. The food is full of flavor, and the prices are very good, making it a favorite for both locals and tourists. Visitors often look forward to returning or visiting their new restaurant in New Symrna Beach.
