El Mercado de Coronado Reviews
We arrived in Disney 17th oct 2022, woke up in morning and went for early breakfast in El Mercado. My daughter & partner ate sausages, which they said tasted reheated & rubbery! That evening both experienced stomach cramps & sickness, which continued for a few days. My daughter recovered quicker but Stuart was unwell all holiday! We reported to our TUI rep who said they would send help, 2 days later never did! Chased again & was told someone from hotel would contact us - they...read full review

El Mercado de Coronado is a convenient quick service spot that offers a variety of options for breakfast and lunch. The Mickey waffles and pancakes are decent choices for breakfast, while the pasta with white sauce provides a rich and cheesy lunch. Guests find the location near the main tower very convenient, making it easy to grab a meal without hassle. The dining area is spacious and clean, though it lacks a distinctive atmosphere and has a basic canteen feel. The staff are consistently friendly and efficient, which adds to the overall experience. Many guests appreciate the variety of food options, including gluten-free choices like chicken tenders, pizza, and Mickey Waffles, making it suitable for dietary restrictions. The nachos are popular and often enjoyed by visitors. Some reviews mention that the food quality varies; for example, the chicken strips didn’t taste fresh, and the pasta was unpleasant. However, the pizzas are the same as those sold in all the parks, so they are a reliable choice. The beef baguette was noted as delicious, and the gravy it came with was described as unreal. Guests also find it a good spot for quick bites with generous portions, though some feel the menu can become repetitive after a week. Refillable cups are available for about $25, but the machines are emptied at around 10 pm each night. Overall, El Mercado is a great spot for speed and convenience, but the food is unremarkable and better suited for quick bites than a special dining experience.
