The Grand Floridian Tea Experience at the Garden View Lounge is truly a magical Disney experience! From the elegant setting and beautiful atmosphere to the delicious tea, sandwiches, and sweet treats, everything felt special and wonderfully refined.

Overall it's a very nice experience. I think a few adjustments need to be made in order to make it excellent, in my opinion. The first is there should be a plain scone option. While I thought the scone was good, orange cranberry is a very specific flavor that's just not for everyone. I was also extremely surprised I could not get some raspberry jam instead of orange marmalade. Such a gorgeous remodel! The staff is polite, efficient, AND personable, and I kept thinking they were such a great example of that magical Disney service. The rest of Orlando could learn a lot from these peeps!
The orange scone was perfect, and we got the cheese plate to go with our tea service. Everything was decadent and bougie. Even the gooseberries.

However, some guests feel that the focus is on visuals and plating rather than flavors, and the portions can be pricey. The restaurant also has vegetarian options and is fully accessible, but it's more of an adult environment. Guests can enjoy a late afternoon tea in a lovely setting, but some feel that a few adjustments are needed to make the experience excellent. The restaurant is open for tea time and cocktails, and resort parking is available.
