This is a down to earth, super traditional Japanese restaurant that does not disappoint for anyone who is looking for one of those restaurants that Japanese people actually eat at.My typical go to menu items here are Chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), karagge (Japanese style fried chicken) agedashi tofu (fried tofu with bonito flakes in sauce) and of course sushi. What an awesome discovery. This place is the real thing. Spectacular service by Meg. Great value in Daily Specials; octopus, fish, gyozas, sake, etc. We will be back many times.Update: been there now twice and this family restaurant is truly spectacular both in the food quality and the service. Every time is mostly Japanese folks in the other tables. What a great find. Also loved the Sake selection. Thanks Meg!
