About House of Blues Orlando

House of Blues Orlando is a lively venue known for its great atmosphere, live music, and Southern-inspired vibe. The location offers a mix of rock-and-roll soul and Southern charm, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. The venue hosts a variety of concerts and events, including kid-friendly performances like the Michael Jackson Experience and the Gospel Brunch, which are highly recommended for their memorable experiences. The sound quality is excellent, and the energy inside is always electric, creating a fun and engaging environment.

Dining at House of Blues features classic Southern dishes. Visitors have enjoyed items like beef brisket, pulled pork, and mac and cheese, though some find the food to be disappointing. For example, a fried chicken breast ordered as Yardbird was brine-brushed with pickles, despite requests to exclude pickles and slaw, and the dish did not meet expectations. Other meals, like onion rings, received mixed reviews, with some finding them bleh. The gumbo was a highlight, appreciated for its flavor. Service is generally good, with helpful staff willing to replace incorrect orders quickly. Sitting outside is popular for enjoying the weather and people watching, though wait times inside can be long, sometimes up to 1.5 hours.

Safety is a priority, with tight security and a friendly staff that assists with crowd control. Parking can be challenging, especially during big events, with some guests experiencing long waits and difficulty finding spots. Prices for drinks are on the higher side, but options like big sharable cans are available. Visitors are advised to arrive early and leave early to avoid traffic congestion. Overall, House of Blues Orlando is more than just a concert venue; it’s a vibrant place to enjoy live music, good food, and a fun atmosphere.

I went to a Josh Ross and Nate Smith country concert at the House of Blues on April 9th, 2026. It was my first time ever there, and to say I enjoyed my time would be an understatement. Not only is it right in downtown Disney Springs, which was awesome, so you can explore that before your concert, but it was a smaller, intimate-type of concert venue, with an open floor area, main upper level area, and second floor balcony area, which provided more than enough room for standing...read full review

We came to the concert venue for Saved By the 90s and it was an absolutely miserable experience. The event was completely oversold. You could not even walk from one side of the venue to the other to use the restroom without fully pressing your body to someone else from boobs to butt. There was no space whatsoever to stand comfortably and actually see the band. If you wanted a single inch of space, you needed to go to the corner where you couldn't see the band or just leave. They...read full review
