We found JJ's Scratch Cocina while searching for restaurants that don't cook with seed oils. Places like that are few and far between, and this one is a real gem. It's a small restaurant with great atmosphere, and the staff was helpful and paid close attention to what we needed. The food came out hot and was delicious, with lots of unique flavors. It's well worth the price, and we'll definitely be back!
Fantastic food! My new favorite local restaurant. Great presentation, full flavors, and good mix of veggies and proteins. We will be back to enjoy the rest of the menu. Check this place out while you can still get a table!

JJ's Scratch Cocina is a small restaurant with great atmosphere. It is a gem for those searching for restaurants that don't cook with seed oils. The staff is helpful and pays close attention to what is needed. The food comes out hot and is delicious, with lots of unique flavors and great presentation. There is a good mix of veggies and proteins. The quality makes a difference, and while food may take a little longer, it is made from scratch. Avocado oil is used. The restaurant has a nice intimate feel, perfect for a date night or an anniversary dinner. A server knew right away when guests were there to celebrate an anniversary, wished them a happy one, and brought them to a reserved table with a cute thank you card from the dinner crew. A wine tasting was provided right away, with the Sauvignon Blanc. The tostadas as an app were AMAZING. Two entrees were shared, along with a desert. An entree and desert were taken home, and the total was less than $200 dollars. It is 5 star service, clean and fresh food, at a great price. It is well worth the price. The taste is as good as any great chef would do in FLAVORS, presentation AND QUALITY HEALTHY FOOD. It is almost like hanging with just family but superb food expertly done with a little love and a lot of pride. This is a new favorite local restaurant. Check this place out while you can still get a table.
