Update…. The thing about the cod was months ago, that's why I said the penultimate time, I had to put it in water so that it would release so much salt…. The steak thing is recent…. The place is good, you just have to check how they are cooking... I really don't go again, the penultimate time the cod was super salty, and the last time the rice with pigeon peas was almost raw and the steak was like chewing gum...it's not worth the expense.

Insanely authentic, savory puertorican food. I love that you get to see the kitchen and the variety of things you are able to buy. Their mofongos are very good, they even come with great garlic sauce (caldo). Prices are very reasonable, on the cheap side. If you like Puerto Rican food, you should try it at least once!

Mofongo with fried meat... delicious the tripe does not need tasty broth and the meat is perfect. Very friendly service from the young woman who made the spectacular mofongo. First time and not the last, I recommend it 100%
