Usually go to Popeyes on Winter Haven, but went to the one on S. Florida Avenur today at appreciate 11:20. Girl came on the speaker and told me they were closed. (Normally opens st 11:00) She then told me that their delivery people had just gotten there. Misunderstanding her, I told her that I didn't want delivery, just wanted to pick up. She again informed me that they would be closed for at least another half hour. I really wanted my mother to try their chicken sandwich....read full review

I am sorry to say that Popeye's Chicken is starting to get worse and that's because these different stores like this one. In particular they like serve you chicken that's been sitting under the bulb all day. It's ridiculous. The only thing I love about Popeyes and nobody else has been able to approach or approximate is the red beans and rice. It is fantastic so there's that.
