I’ve been in many Starbucks across the globe and this is the only Starbucks where they told me that they don’t accept cash payments. This is not company’s policy this is straight up laziness.
They routinely mess up my drink when I go there despite ordering simple items. Most of the staff aren’t even doing anything and just talking. They won’t even greet you when you walk up and instead have to wait for them to finish talking before you can order.
Today, someone turned a routine moment into something I’ll remember Sunny at the Starbucks near the UCF Health Sciences building.
My order had a small hiccup, and I offered to adjust it, thinking that would make things easier. But instead of treating me like a mistake to correct or a transaction to process, Sunny just smiled and said, “It’s okay we all make mistakes. We’re human.”
No judgment. No awkwardness. Just kindness.
