“Had the absolute best breakfast this morning. The staff was friendly, superb service & our food came out quick and correct. We had our handful of a 2 year old and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure he was also happy. 10/10 recommend, we will be back.“

“Definitely a place to go, plenty of food, fresh biscuits, homemade gravy, sausage is delicious, eggs made with perfection, grits done right.. a little hole in the wall but a real landmark for good food and service.. if in the area, you must check it out you will be surprised with the food and service. One of my favorites so far, way to go MEL'S DINER!!!!“

“I was at your restaurant in Sanford, Florida and I wanted to give a shout out to Matt for a job well done. A customer behind my son in law and I was complaining about how long it took to receive his order. Matt kept his cool and offered to pay for the customer's dinner out of his pocket! That's going beyond the call of duty in my book. This young man deserves credit for a job well done in this situation and should be reimbursed for paying for the customer's dinner out of his own pocket! Great job. Well done Matt!“

“What a wonderful dining experience my family had at Metro Diner. The food was so amazing and the portions were very large, but what topped off our experience wonderfully was our waitress Karen. She was very pleasant personable and made us feel like we were old friends that came to visit. Karen was so helpful and attentive to our needs and she even threw in some good ol’ humor to make us laugh. Thank you again for your service and we look forward to seeing you again! Dale L.“
