“Hands down my favorite place to drink/eat at here locally. My boyfriend and I come in at least once a week and ALWAYS get amazing service. The food is amazing and always being updated and the cocktails are out of this world. The staff is so down to earth. The live music is always stellar. Can’t recommend this place enough!!“

“I'd never even heard of triggerfish, let alone tried it, and it was AMAZING. We also got to try mullet bones, which sounds insane, but it was insanely fun. I was grinning like a little kid through the whole meal, shoveling down cheesy grits and collard greens; right behind it all. It's a great little place, with fantastic staff, incredible food, and a definite "must try". Thank you, guys, for an unforgettable experience!“

“I was just passing through Pensacola and looking for a place to get a seafood dinner. Found out about The Fishing Hole through Yelp recommendations. Had a bit of an issue finding the restaurant in the strip shopping center but so glad I found it! I had the fried oysters, with coleslaw and baked beans. Usually I like raw oysters but there weren't on the menu. The oysters were plump, lightly battered, and delicious!!! Same with the side dishes. Service was great! Very attentive and quick. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!“

Swamphouse Marina New American •
10421 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola - 4.26 miles

“Very friendly people, and a great boat launch. There's plenty of parking too, far more than Archie Glover or Shoreline Park. The channel is about 6-7' deep consistently. They have one single ramp and one double ramp. $5 launch fee, $2 for additional parking (meaning other vehicles joining you, not the vehicle you're launching your boat from). They have a drop box with envelopes you put your tag # on and cash inside, so you'll need exact change unless you get the restaurant to break change for you. Some of the boat slips need work. There's a restaurant there too now, I haven't tried it yet but it looks great! They had a sign up that says they serve gator bites! If you're considering Smith's boat ramp across the street, I wouldn't. I haven't launched there personally, but I drove the boat past it to check it out and it's in pretty rough shape. Several sunken boats, and it looks like the ramp is covered in orange clay.“

“If you haven't been recently, they renovated. It's comfortable. Bar is simple, away from restaurant. They now have a party room. You can order from the menu or ask them to provide 3 or 4 catering options for your guests to choose from for ease of your event and payment. Ask for Kirby and tell him Sandra sent you.“

“Came to BJ’s restaurant and brewhouse April 20,2024 for dinner around 4pm. Lucky for me walking in the door started prime time steak hour which has a special deal on Friday and Saturday which is a 3 course meal for one which starts out with a house soup or salad and is followed up by a 15 ounce prime ribeye steak With your choice of two house sides. I choose the house mashed potatoes loaded of course with the roasted asparagus. The meal was very hearty and flavorful you have to really savor each bite you take it’s amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked but it did have a lot of fatty areas which I personally don’t like but the steak was one of the best I’ve had besides BJs filet mignon which we’ll talk about in just a minute. The prime rib special also comes with desert called a pizookie. The pizookie is a hot fudge brownie at the bottom with 2 scoops of ice cream whip cream and a cherry on top all for the price of $33. This restaurant has a lot of options for food but the quality of the meal you get for the price is absolutely great especially the 3 course meal but make sure you come in and at 4 when it starts because they are very limited on the deal. I ordered around 430pm and our server advised there were only 10 prime ribeye specials left for the night so yeah get it while you can. My wife ordered the filet mignon which she didn’t finish her steak and let me try it and hands down one of the best if not the best filet mignon I have ever eaten. The steak was so soft and tender but absolutely juicy. You can taste the thyme the rosemary and they drizzle it with a sauce that I could not even begin to tell you what it is but it was just amazing. For drinks I ordered the amber oasis beer it’s a light amber ale and it has hints of vanilla and kind of taste like a baked treat but it was a very good. My wife ordered the Tito’s strawberry lemonade that has fresh strawberries, a lemon slice and Tito’s vodka. I’m not one for mixed drinks often but this drink was definitely a drink I can drink all day long it felt like a warm summer evening by the pool highly recommend 10/10. This place also creates and makes their own cream sodas with multiple flavors and man I wish I had them on tap at my house I couldn’t even get a picture of my drink to post on here because I took one sip and I couldn’t get enough. The flavor was great and they bring you the drink in a frozen glass mug what I treat I can’t wait to come back and have more. The atmosphere in the restaurant when you walk in has dim lighting and has an elegant fancy restaurant feeling but has still a craft brewery look to it also. The hospitality of the servers and greeters were very helpful and were attentive the entirety of our visit thank you.I will be returning and will give the business a 10/10 hands down“
