“I had not been to Jan’s in some time. Tonight friends and I were vendors at Jammin Jensen. I stopped in and brought home a mini carrot cake to bring home. The bakery and gift shop are open for Thursday nights events. Stephen was very nice and offered choices. Should have bought my friend that second eclair! The cake was amazing and perfect split 3 ways. So moist and light. The flavors just melted together perfectly. I forgot how much I love this local spot“

So friday i had went to playa bowls The lady coworker greeted me and the man greeted me. I got nothing of it. I greeted them back !so fast forward I got my food went out got in the car. He came out right after looking and I’m putting my key in the ignition looking up and he looks right at me he starts smiling I smile didn’t think nun of it. OK then he starts talking so I open up my car door cause I’m like I can’t hear this man. Let me know what he’s talking about. He proceeds to come and then he asked me my age and I’m like so I tell him my age and then he proceeds to say oh I thought you were younger then he proceeds to call me beautiful mind you I think this man is at least like 40 something years old so if you sat there and thought I was younger, why are you approaching me ? So fast forward, he proceeds to ask me if I’m in college and trying to know my business and this that in the third and then the last thing he asked was for me to take his number and so I tell him like no I don’t do that you know cause I’m like what the heck is going on like why is this man coming coming out here asking me for my personal information and wanting me to take his number? But anyway, I was like yeah no I don’t do that but he’s like come on. It’ll be fine. It’ll be good. It’ll be good. I’m like I already said no and now you’re like pressuring me me into like like taking your number and of course, I don’t know this person so I’m already a little on edge cause I don’t know if he’s gonna do something you know what I’m saying. Anyways, I take his number thank God I’m the one who took it down because I’m not giving him my personal number so I took it down. I shot at the contact for proof and then deleted his number. Never texted the man but yeah besides him I don’t know if he does this to other girls or whatever but he’s definitely a weirdo, but the food is great though don’t let that distract you from the food. “My family has been going to Tavola for a few years now and their pizza according to us is by far the best we've had. Coming from Brooklyn it's not easy to find good pizza in Florida. Yesterday for the first time I've tried they cauliflower pizza crust,by far the best I've ever had, and I've tried a few. “My wife and I just had the privilege to enjoy dinner at the District Table. She ordered the Summer menu deal where she received a salad , appetizer, main course, and dessert. Her main course was belly steak with chimichurri. The chimichurri could not have been more fresh and bright flavored. The steak was tender and full of remarkable flavor. My main course was the chili rellenos. This dish was not a typical Hispanic type dish, other than the chilis. It was more of an Indian dish flavored with curry, cardamom, tarragon, etc. When I say this was a top 10 meal, I literally mean a top 10 for my entire life. We’ve travelled the country and all over Europe and I will stand by the “top 10” designation. Oh my God, people. I know their menu changes regularly but I wish it could be a staple. I was in heaven. I virtually never talk to the chef but I could not stop myself. I HAD to express my appreciation for the culinary experience he and his staff just provided. Taylor- if you’re reading this…you’re a food wizard. I can’t thank you enough for what we just ate. I’m leaving out many amazing details of our dinner- from the outstanding service, to the remarkable dessert and, surprisingly cheap, happy-hour margaritas. Wow. Just: wow. Triple A plus experience. I couldn’t recommend the District Table any more highly.“

“I have been going to shrimpers for many years. This was my second bad experience. Tonight we waited for our meal for over 1 hour. We told the waitress that we were going to leave because of this. The manager then came and stated that the meal would be ready in 90 seconds because it still needed to “bake”. We were done and fed up. We told him that we were leaving and to not charge us for the meal. He did not charge us for the meal but did not apologize or show us any quality customer service. I was very disappointed. It was our mother’s birthday and we were trying to celebrate this special day with her.“
