Please get it together with the staffing. Sat at the bar to get a drink and order food to go. 2 bartenders, 1 customer and I was totally ignored. I never got a drink.
The female bartender was too busy complaining about her life to attend to customers. Finally asked a waitress walking by if she wanted to take my order. She couldn't understand English. She said she didn't know what a house salad was. I finally wrote the order out and she took it elsewhere to find someone who...read full review
Had a great meal with great service! The sourdough bread with olive oil is delicious!
the food is not as good as the previous owners...gave them a try twice and just not the same - disappointing. The new owner is just focused on the bar area, and the staff join him at the bar while Patrons dining get ignored...and overprice entres

Positano Ristorante Italiano by Bachi's is a classy, high-end Italian restaurant suitable for both lunch and dinner. The food is excellent, outstanding, and very, very good, with huge, well-portioned dishes made to order. Specific standout meals include the exceptional lasagna, the outstanding sea bass and seafood soup, the veal parmesan, lobster ravioli, and the New York steak special. The tiramisu is quite good, and the Caesar salad, house salad, stuffed mushrooms, and bread service are all noted. The Cappuccino is beautifully presented. Prices are a little high but fair and worth it for the quality and experience.
Service is excellent, impeccable, attentive, professional, polished, and helpful without being intrusive. Reservations are handled flawlessly. The ambiance is first-class, though opinions on the live entertainment vary. The band is excellent, refined, and talented, kept at a background level for some, but others find it way too loud, even in the upper room. The music style is also noted as being for an older crowd. The atmosphere otherwise allows for easy conversation.
Overall, it is a top-notch restaurant with outstanding food and excellent service, strongly recommended for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.
