“Delicious breakfast with fast service. Not super busy when we arrive around 8:15am on a Thursday morning but filled up as the time passed. My 3 year old and I shared the chicken tenders and waffles. It was really good...the chicken is very well done and it's really meaty, not dry and not ALL breading. Has to be done in house. We drive by everyday on the way to school but this is our first visit and it won't be our last!Kid-friendliness: They have a lively atmosphere, so you don't have to worry about kid volume as much. Highchair available and it wasn't too crammed to have them by the table.“
“Came in for breakfast, nice place and ambiance! I had the mushroom quiche, and it was moist and delicious, def could taste the quality of the butter in the croissant, and the OJ was the best I've had in a while. The girl that was helping us, Samantha! was really nice and attentive. Would recommend!“
“Breakfast and lunch. The food was delicious, the ambience was cozy and service excellent. My party of 3 all agreed the music was too loud. We asked for it to be lowered a bit and they complied. A happy customer always returns. Looking forward to the next brunch.“
“We ended up here every morning during our 4 day stay! We tried a lot, but my favorite was their breakfast fried rice dish, The Emperor Nasi Goreng. The coffee is incredible, the avo roasts divine, and the service is super friendly and genuine! A great breakfast stop!“
“We loved holding our health and wellness lunch CLE at Macondo! The chef greeted our guests personally and was attentive. The food was plated beautifully and was delicious. It took us back to the culinary tastes of Colombia! We look forward to more events at Macondo.“
“The food here is delicious. The French toasts are amazing, Very, very original. My son had a Benedict with salmon, and he sucked them up in a second. The coffee is fantastic, good quality coffee. The place is beautiful, clean, and remarkable. It is Located in the center of the South—Miami area. I welcome you to come here and enjoy a lovely brunch or lunch. Nice place. It gets hectic so service can be a bit slow. But it is worth it. You will enjoy it. The best thing is the feeling that you are definitely coming back.“
“Stopped by to browse menu when we went to pick up açai bowls at Raw South and WOW! Cafe Oriental was awesome. We tried 3 ONIGIRI (Rice Handballs); one tuna, one eel and one fried chicken. Excellent and fun to eat. Also , ordered a Beef Yakisoba; bursting with flavors and beef was tender. Will be back very soon. Highly recommended. Staff member was friendly and took time to explain the menu and everything was packaged neatly. Thank me later.“
“Incredible spot. Sweet and savory crepes and croissants are delicious. Fine ingredients. Excellent coffee quality and selection. Indoor/outdoor seating. Staff is great. The General Manager (Maren I think her name is) has such a gift for hospitality. Wonderful spot to relax and enjoy breakfast with none of the Miami Miaminess.“
“Maria was super helpful when it came to serving our table. Viviana was very kind and made sure we were happy with everything! The food was one of a kind, my mom referred my girl and i here and we were so happy! The hot sauce has the perfect kick, no other nica place can compare to that sauce! Thank you “
“They say size matters... Family and I stopped here for midday Sunday breakfast. Place was packed but luckily we were able to find a table quickly. Parking was on the street and not the greatest but again we got lucky and found a spot rather quickly. You have to pay by phone. Inside the place had a good roar as they had a fully seated restaurant. They have a large spacious dining room and good size service counter as well. As you walk in you can't help but notice their spread of large croissants and other baked goods. We decided to order the French Toast, Croque Madame and the Kids Egg Breakfast along with an Almond Croissant and of course a Guava and Cheese Croissant. Everything was really tasty and came out pretty quick. French Toast was probably my favorite but I have a sweet tooth. The Croque Madame was perfectly cooked. The egg just oozed out upon touching it. I felt it was also a nice sized portion. I had to take some home. The croissants were also really good. They had ample amounts of filling and thats saying a lot given their size. I can see how you could just go in and have a coffee and croissant for breakfast and would be satisfied. In fact I might be doing that more often here. The guava though I would have preferred it to be more of a marmalade like consistency instead of guava jelly like but still it was very good. I have to also give a special shout out to their Orange Juice. Wow it was so fresh. My only complaint was that I wish I could have endless refills although it was nice that our orders included coffee and orange juice. As we were heading out they had a line out the door of folks waiting to be seated. So you might have to wait but the place is worth it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even have the cutest little to go boxes. Overall great place for breakfast and I would definitely be coming back. Recommend if in the area.“
“This restaurant is a hidden Kendall gem! Thank goodness my friend just happened upon it when going to Wawa. It was on a Monday. On Monday’s everything is buy one, get one free! Two churrasco dinners for $20…. Amazing!!!!! They give you complimentary homemade mariquitas before dinner … yum! The fajitas are also amazing! On Wednesday, they have buy one, get one free sandwiches. They were huge and delicious. Try it out on a Monday! You will be so happy you did! From now on, it’s my Monday and Wednesday retreat!“
“An amazing little cafe in the middle of a concrete jungle, what a find. It's simply a counter, you order and wait, then you can head out to the reflecting pool to eat. All the food is fresh and made daily, it's breakfast and lunch, very good and reasonably priced ! We had the ham and cheese croissant, the Sunday sandwich and 2 Americanos for $20 plus tip. It was hot, fresh and very tasty. The coffee was amazing and the 2 women who ran the spot were delightful. It's just basically a food stand, no real ambiance, but it is clean and efficient. We can't wait to go back and try lunch, homemade soups and sandwiches........“
“I really like the vibe of the place. The Milk Teas are good and prices are very reasonable. Nice place to hangout with friends and have boba, they also have game boards but it was too late when we found out about it. Will definitely come back.“
“It is a place to have breakfast or brunch, its menu ranges from croquettes, sandwiches, salads, main dishes, etc., all the girls and the boy who served us were super friendly and attentive and they were also the same with the other people from the other tables, the only thing I didn't like very much was the parking and that they also don't have good access and space for wheelchairs ? it is a cafe in the best Cuban style!“
“If you want to try authentic spanakopita, this is the place for it. We were visiting Miami and staying downtown, but Ubered here twice just for spanakopita, horiatiki salata, Freddo cappuccinos and portokalopita. For a few hours I felt like I was in Greece again.“
“The food is a little pricey for what it is, but not where it is. The portions are adequate, and the setting is very comfortable. The employees were friendly and welcoming. As we sat and ate, the restaurant started to fill up with regulars. If I lived nearby, I would probably be one of them. As it is, I'm glad I had the opportunity to visit this cozy lounge.“
“What a great spot! Books & Books always has something going on: comedy night, spoken poetry events, and a plethora of other events. The cafe's food never disappoints either, and their happy hour deals are amazing! $5 wine and select apps, and plenty of seating both inside and outside at the patio/bar. Service is wonderful too; everyone is super attentive and kind. This is probably my favorite Books & Books location--the ambiance is unbeatable!“
“Très beau lieu, bien situé. La décoration est cependant minimale (mur blanc) et rien ne laisse penser que l'on soit dans un restaurant Français, une fois de plus personne ne parle Français même quand je prononce "Quiche Lorraine ", la serveuse me reprend pour le prononcé avec un accent espagnol, dommage.“
“One of my favourite spots to have brunch in the grove. The second floor overlooks the street with floor to ceiling windows so you can people or car watch. On a weekend you’ll see a lot of special cars driving through on their way up from old cutler. The food is great, no complaints there. The service is attentive and pleasant. Nothing bad to say about this spot at all“
“I really liked the concept and the atmosphere, the menu was very good and the coffee was acceptable. I won't give it 5 stars because the truth is that I travel the world visiting coffee places and in that aspect life has led me to make my opinion a little more cruel, but for people looking for a coffee in that area to sit and share a good conversation, I recommend it. More of my visit on my Instagram travel_a_for_coffee“
“This is our office go-to! The salads are large and made to order, and everything is extremely fresh. I recommend knowing what you would like to get before you reach the counter, because the line (despite usually long at lunchtime) moves fast. Tip: The salad combo includes a drink and chips, and it's just a few dollars more. Nice value!“
“Cienfuegos Coffee Miami provided cafecito and dessert for our event at an available office /warehouse space. Carina made sure that our guests smelled the freshly brewed coffee as the entered and no one left disappointed! Highly recommendDietary restrictions: Options were provided for those that don't drink milk.“
“Today I got to try Ice Ice Baby Tea Drink and I got a Caramel White Chocolate protein waffle. Let me just say WOW I was not disappointed. It was so yummy and tasted awesome. Can't wait to go back and get another waffle and try another drink flavor.“
“Super cute and welcoming atmosphere! Feels like you are inside a page from a magazine. Little decorative details on the tables, the decor all around, it makes you want to sit and soak up the vibe. There's a book shelf with books, plants on the window sill, big windows with lots day light coming in. The service was fantastic! The owner is so friendly, nice and sweet, she was hard at work along with her staff to quickly and efficiently get the food out. We didn't wait long. The food was delicious! Lots of vegan options! I shared a zuccini soup with my 3 year old and we both loved it! It was surprisingly VERY tasty! I never thought zuccini was a good "soup" veggetable, but this definitely changed my mind. I also had a veggie panini, and one of their juices. Everything tasted wholesome and delicious! If I am ever in Miami again, I'm definitely coming back!“
“This place always gets your order right and the egg sandwiches slap! The orange juice is fresh squeezed, and their croqueta preparadas really hit the spot. The inside is small but it's a perfect spot for a low-key breakfast. Service is great and wait times are very short. 10/10!“
“Best. Sandwiches. In. Kendall. These guys have been here since I can remember! They are a west kendall institution and are a great hometown business to support! I've been coming for 25 years to order a #13 with a cafecito! You should too and bring a friend because the portions are as real as the food being prepared fresh in front of you.“
“I've been to Cafe Demetrio multiple times and I genuinely believe it has some of the best coffee in Miami. The cappuccinos are delicious (they give you a little chocolate heart in the middle!) and the atmosphere is super darling. Their service is also really solid - the line can look intimidating if you get there around 9 when they open, but it moves quickly. I haven't tried any of their food yet, but my friend got a sandwich that she absolutely loved. I think my only complaint is that it isn't open earlier. Seriously worth a visit if you are in the Gables.“
“My wife and I work in the area and we come here for lunch all the time. We love the fact that it’s family owned and they have a level of customer service that you just don’t see in Miami. It’s also VERY affordable when you compare it to nearby restaurants. The food has that home cooked feel. If I could give more stars I would.“
“I stumbled upon this place after using the Citi bank ATM machine outside of a hotel. I peaked inside and decided to check this place out. It Intrigued me because it looked so cute but simple at the same time. I would definitely bring my friend here who loves chic coffee spots. I'm not a coffee drinker but I'll be back for the cute atmosphere and quietness.“
“My favorite hotel in Miami for a few reasons. First, it gives a true apartment/condo vibe which I love! Second, the views in Brickell are breathtaking. Third, The staff is nice & attentive. They respond quickly and notify you if any deliveries come for you. You have the option to text them, sooo convenient for when I’m not at the hotel. Lastly, the place is clean! Cleaning staff comes daily but I’m general I usually have to change rooms at hotels once I check sheets and such. But this place is easily a 10/10. No brainer! They have a pool and gym and then a restaurant in the lobby.“
“Don’t miss this (nearly hidden) gem. Nestled on the DOUGLAS ROAD side of the building (see photos), you can hop up to the terrace (where there are outdoor dining tables) from the northern edge of 1 Alhambra Place. There is also an entrance from the lobby.Although most patrons seemed to be regulars, this newbie was treated like a long-lost friend. A very nice Western Omelet and a large Cafe con Leche made a great start to my day.Parking: Steer parking (pay by phone or at kiosk) is available on Alhambra.Kid-friendliness: There’s room for your stroller and children on the terrace.“
“Chantilly Bakery is my neighborhood bakery. There may be better places to go but their location is convenient and their food is delicious. It’s our go-to when we don’t feel like cooking breakfast or for a quick “tostadas and cafe con lèche.” You can’t go wrong here.“
“You must get the pancakes! The best, fluffiest, delicious pancakes I've ever had! Candy is also an amazing host, her hospitality is top notch! Everything we ordered was delicious. The big breakfast has an avocado toast with pickled onions, radish and micro greens -yum! The Kubano Flatbread is also a must! The dough is soft and fluffy, the cheese is cheesing and the salty pork with the contrast of the sweet plantains, omg! We also had the lattes and they're on point, definitely will be back! Thank you Miam Coral Gables! Delicious!“
“Doral Graziano's.... This place is great!! The staff is outstanding!! The food is very, very good!! Then, u make ask, why not 5 stars... A waiter or waitress comes out to the restaurant area with 2 or 3 plates of food in there hands.... They walk around for 19 minutes looking for the right table/client, never seen something like it in my life. I hope management doesn't pay them "per mile" because if they do they would go broke. They have these "number devices" that don't work at all. Now, last time I looked we were in the 22nd century and things are digital and work BUT here they don't..... so may I humbly suggest.... A little stick/table flag -visible from a distance- with a number on top. This way; waiters walk hundreds of miles less, food actually gets to the right table the same day, and most of all you come off as being organized and knowing what your doing. BTW.... I love the place and will continue to go...AND whoever is contracting the managers and staff deserves a rise...really the staff make it worthwhile to go. Thank you“
“Came here because I saw a sign on the door saying then had coffee. I stopped in and the place itself was very clean and organized. The woman at the counter was really nice and was asking questions to make sure I enjoyed my coffee (I.e., if I wanted whipped cream, caramel sauce, any flavors, etc). She took her time making the coffee and I really appreciated seeing the effort she made to make sure it was perfect. As she was putting the whipped cream on top I stopped and thought to myself "this is why I love supporting small businesses." She wasn't making it slow by any means but she wasn't rushing to get me out the door. When she handed me my coffee she told me to try it and let her know if it needs any modifications... Starbucks would literally never. Really nice place, I'll have to come back and try their ice cream some time. Very pleasant experience!“
“Pretty good! I was leading a tour group full of gringos and there was a little bit of a language barrier, and not everyone was into the authenticity of the Cuban and Salvadorian offerings. My meal was quite delicious though!Vegetarian options: Unless you eat seafood you may not find anything at all on this menu.“
“Great food… Had the Pan con bistec “BOMB”… OMG soooo goood… The fried cheese in the sandwich was great. My boyfriend had the Lechón asado with white rice, black beans and maduros… The pork was seasoned perfectly and they put a large piece of crispy pork skin on top which made this dish extra great. They opened about 5 months ago and on their way to success… love it“
“A wonderful delight slightly hidden away, I had the best almond croissant I've ever had. The coffee was made to order & delish. Although I didn't partake in the buffet, it looked amazing along with the market with the specialty foods. Thank you ?“
“Amazing place I ordered a cake and I got confused and I need it for a day early called the place, and they make the cake for me immediately although was I who make the mistake. The people there supper nice and kind, and the food delicious. The atmosphere good vibes. Thanks to this spectacular “
“This is a go-to lunch spot. There are so many options (bakery to deli) and I've never had something I didn't like. The chicken salads are good on a sandwich, but I'm a sucker for a lox bagel. The staff is friendly, and everything is made fresh. I've had the pleasure of meeting the owners. They're kind and take pride in their business.“
“Oscar helped us with our cake tasting for my daughter’s wedding. He was professional, friendly, flexible and helpful. We ended up ordering a vanilla naked cake with guava filling. The cake was made exactly as my daughter wanted. It was beautiful and so delicious. Everyone loved the cake! I would highly recommend!“
“What a wonderful experience this was! I had just taken the kids to the park, and it was super hot… so we decided to go for a little treat! We loved all the flavors, they were all impecable and tasty. The store associate, Jackqueline was very peofessional, attentive and sweet! She insisted we try different flavors and we even connectedthrough variohs conversations. She treated us so well, that I thought to myself - She must be the owner. She is not, but her service was memorable to my kids!Thank you!“
“We were a group of 6, went there on a recommendation from a good friend of mine that works across the street and has been eating there for many years.Food and service was AWESOME !We all loved our food and the prices were great.Clean place, clean bathrooms. Will definitely go back!!“
“Best Pastelitos in Miami! The owner is a well vetted & dedicated pastelero (pastry baker) from Cuba with great attention to detail, always checking on the pastelitos in the glass casing to bring out the new batch. His pastelitos have the best form, fluffed to a layered crisp, filled in perfectly (no cheating on the guava, cheese, or picadillo) and glazed to perfection. I am glad to have this gem in Westchester.-Danny L.“
“(Translated by Google) I love the bonus bread, the tequeños, the Colombian empanadas, the coffee with milk, the colada and above all the attention.(Original)Me encanta el pan de bono, los tequeños, las empanadas colombianas, el café con leche, la colada y sobre todo la atención.“
“The food was excellent, the owners were lovely, and, best of all, the prices were extraordinarily reasonable. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Mario's Rapid Food is well worth the stop for its cafe con leche alone (quite possibly the best in the city).“
“Surprising place tucked tightly inside a business warehouse area. Youll have to look for it if new to the area. Good for walking visits if you're in range since parking is very limited and compact. Best for walk in, pick up. The place is very small, a few tables and a small counter that you could sit in if you really want to. No wait staff, so order at the counter. Good for quick drop by and go for some Latin cuisine.“
“Knowledgeable and attentive staff that are willing to give recommendations and suggestions. Personally, their decor is my whole aesthetic and I could’ve stayed there all day if I didn’t have a flight later that day. They didn’t make us feel rushed and welcomed us to continue to stay and chat as long as we needed. If I lived here I would always be there for the great food and coffee. I got the flat white based on Ayana’s suggestion for it being their speciality and they roast their own beans. I added a couple sugar packets and it was the perfect creamy cup of coffee. The chicken sanga is a large, juicy, crispy portion of chicken sandwich with perfectly seasoned and crunchy fries. This ended up being the cheapest place we ate during our Miami trip and it could’ve been more expensive and still well worth it. I wouldn’t have changed anything and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Parking: You’ll need to find a lot or off street parking and walk to the restaurant.“
“Oui! D'accord! C'est Bon! It IS good. Really cool cafe with a twist in that it's got a large assortment of fresh vegetable juices/smoothies for those who are more health conscious than the more decadent baked in house treats. Imad, the manager greeted me with a hearty, hospitable greeting not usually encountered around these parts lol. Really cool location on the second floor of Merrick Park. Chicken Empanada coulda used a lil more seasoning. Very cool place well worth visiting!“
“This was my first time visiting this establishment. I wanted a large piece of Churrasco, which I was able to purchase from the butcher. It looks really good & I’m excited to cook it later tonight.I also ordered two Cuban sandwiches, which were rather tasty. I especially liked that they used fresh pulled pork in it.What was rather disappointing were the Mariquitas. They smelled of oil and were seemingly not fresh. The chips were not crisp & over soaked in oil as if they were not properly drained. Would not order them again. They went straight to the disposal.“
