We don’t do fast food very often and very rarely do we go to Sonic. We’ve been to this location twice in the last year and had the same issues both times.
My daughter wanted a Sonic Blast so I gave in. After pressing the red button and waiting for over 5 minutes in one of the stalls with no answer….we hear another stall answered to be told “we’re drive through only.” Hmmmm there’s not one sign posted at any of the stalls stating this. I get working fast food socks because the pay is trash and the conditions are usually the same, but having an attitude and snapping at my roommate when he's trying to put in a special order is not needed at all.
I waited in the drive thru for 5 minutes and was never acknowledged. I proceeded to drive off and pass the drive thru window and see there were in fact people inside...so I parked to order. After pressing the button, I was told almost instantly they were "drive thru only!"
How can that be? They're unresponsive at the drive thru and turning away business at the stalls...it sounds to me like the employees are choosing to not work at all.
