“Cupcakes showed up at work today, and they were a much-appreciated treat. Classic flavors like red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla made an appearance, and while simple, each one was perfectly baked. The cake was soft and fluffy, and the frosting was smooth, creamy, and just sweet enough to feel like a treat without being too much. They were beautifully decorated, and judging by how quickly they disappeared, I’d say they were a big hit!”

“I grew up in the area and have been eating smoked mullet for nearly 50 years. In the 1970's mullet were plentiful all along the coast and you could get it raw or cooked in several different ways everywhere you went, but the smoked was always a hit with me. As time went by the mullet schools shrank and it became harder and harder to find it in any form. The occasional pop-up roadside warrior over the week-ends advertised "smoked mullet", but 9 times out of 10 the spice was too powerful, the smoke hadn't penetrated or the meat was either raw or over cooked and so dry that it could barely be swallowed. I finally stopped to give Gulley's a try and was NOT disappointed. I am here to tell you that Gulley's smoked mullet is the REAL DEAL. Perfect in every way. While there I also tried their mullet spread and it is Heavenly as is their mullet dipping sauce. Needless to say.. I will be back.”

“My husband and I ate at Ferraro's on January 28th at 5:15pm. Our waitress was Ronnie. She was a good waitress but we would have liked her to smile. She acted like she really did not want to be there. On the other hand, Emma came over to our table to check to see if we had gotten all our food and if we needed anything else. She had a super personality and I personally asked if she was an assistant manager. She said no. She went over to several tables to check to see if they were happy with everything. Emma made our night. We are glad that you have a person like this who enjoys work working here. Our compliments to Emma!!!! Food was delicious as usual.”

“It’s a take out only. No delivery which is a shame but they have so many staff that the food order is prepared within just 10 minutes. I have to say it’s the best Chinese I’ve ever had! That’s because it wasn’t gloopy and full of MSG like most Chinese take out. It was clean and tasty and fresh. Also good value and large portion sizes. I am already looking forward to my next order!

“Excellent service during Friday night dinner. Our waitress, Danielle, was friendly and provided fast service. Their sweet tea is THE BEST! We got loaded tots as an appetizer and they were so good! My pulled pork and baby back ribs were awesome, and both my girls enjoyed their kid's meals. Good place for the whole family and inexpensive.”

“My wife and I came to the Ellenton area on our honeymoon. Her local family reccomended we check out Woodys River Roo. It was our first stop and the only repeat stop during our week down here. We went to "The Roo" on three separate occasions and loved each one. The food was great, the view of the manatee river was very nice, but the friendly hardworking staff was the cherry on top. They all really seemed to love each other and worked together like a well oiled machine. They made us feel right at home and made sure everything was just right. Bar tender Johnny, who I belive said had been employed there for 15 years, reccomended a lot of other great places to drink and dine in the area. They also have a gift shop and live entertainment from, music to trivia 7 days a week! 10 out of 10 would reccomend. My wife and I hope to be back sooner than later!”

“Incredible hibachi!!! We had the combo and were very happy with it. Tried the strawberry and taro boba and they were both great but the taro was amazing - like a milkshake! Wish they offered mango or peach as well as brown sugar boba but that is our only suggestion! We will definitely be back!!”

“My friend and I went on Saturday night. We both had a drink and ordered appetizer while looking at the menu. Our waiter was right there with our hot appetizer within minutes. We both ordered shrimp and scallops coleslaw hush puppies along with our fried calamari appetizer. Our food was one of the best we've had in and around Bradenton/Sarasota. The atmosphere was perfect and service was the best. I cant wait to go back.”

“I want to start by saying we love this place! My husband and I come here once a week for coffee and breakfast! BUT I will say the owners are not personable or very talkative at all. Sometimes they seem almost bothered or feel as you’re being rushed. The girls who work here are super sweet but again they seem to rush you. The layout of having a line of people order and then back track to get your food is odd. It just causes congestion! Again, we love the food but some of the staff just make it to where I don’t want to come anymore. The whole area was so excited for a local breakfast place but I just expected nicer staff I guess. I will say MaKayla (not owner) is always sweet and a girl she typically works dirty blonde hair and usually a ponytail is SO sweet as well!”
