Tijuana Flats falls into an interesting category of not fast food and not sit down. In 1995, Brian Wheeler--at the time, just a taco-loving college student--borrowed some money from his dad to open the first Tijuana Flats in Winter Park, Florida. It has since grown to 123 locations in four states, three of them in the Melbourne area. In addition to their quick casual food, they have a large assortment of fun hot sauces of varying intensities you can sample at the hot sauce bar. Find one you can't live without? You can purchase one or more bottles to bring home some heat and spice up your life. Jovi is our food facilitator, and she is wonderfully charming and helpful. Now they've even added the french dip

They do make it very hard to choose between the curly fries and the potato cakes and I have to admit that I go back-and-forth every time I visit.

Service, at this location was very good. They handled customers very, very quickly. When I first pulled up I was worried at how long the line was but they soon alleviated my fears.

It is nice to see that Arby's is adding new locations to their chain. Several have popped up around where I live over the past year or two.“

“The food was really delicious. The gryo was stuffed full and the tzatziki sauce was refreshing. The gyro rice bowl was a good size and featured lots of gyro meat, buttery rice, Greek salad and several sauces. We also ordered the spanakopita (spinach pie), which was one of the best we had- so creamy. The location is at the Merritt Island mall in the food court near the theater. It’s definitely worth trying.“

“We truly love our MI Checkers! We’ve been eating here for many years, and have never been disappointed. Their sandwiches are great, and their fries may actually be the best in the business! The staff here has always been friendly over the years, and we love sitting outside, watching the traffic on Courtenay and the often interesting weather. Seriously, we do love this place!“

“We have been to BUBBAKOO’S many times and tried many different things including taco salads, burritos, quesadillas and their awesome boardwalk cookies…. They have great food and service and you can change the taste by just adding or removing one ingredient…. It’s a different experience every time!“

How do I know? For the last 4 months it’s been my go to place for lunch 3-5 days a week. The food is always fresh, always right, the times are very fast for the lunch rush hour, and if they’re running slow they make it known they’ll have my food to me as soon as possible.

The only bad things about this location is they’re so good it’s causing me to make poor life decisions by eating it everyday. Excellent display of how a fast food restaurant should be ran.“

“I’m in this location at least one day a week. The problem that I have with this location is one particular employee in his name is JAIR. I have no other choice but it stop coming to this location and going down to West Haven. I really hate this because this one’s like five minutes from my house this employee does Burger King a disservice. He has absolutely zero customer service skills. It is as if we are troubling him to ask if we can get some ketchup. The list could go on and on just in the past month I have had four bad experiences with this one gentleman the food is always exceptionally great here but they need to lock him in the back cooking and never allow him to interact with customers ever again.“
