“Been here quite a few times. My experience has been the same everytime. Consistent. We had the spinach dip and cheese bites for the appetizer. Very tasty. 10 out of 10. We ordered the salmon. My man rayed it an 8 out of 10. My daughter had the ribs. It was very tough unfortunately. Definitely not falling off the bone and she could barely pull it apart. She ended up using a knife to wade through the rib fibers. The pain killer was strong if you're into strong drinks. The star of the show as always is the biscuits. Yummy. 20 out of 10. I ordered extra. Overall good experience.“

“Excellent!! I went Just Spoons for brunch. First I would suggest make reservations. This restaurant gets crowded fast. I had the grilled shrimp and fried catfish w/ eggs and grits. Enough for 2 people and it delicious. My daughter had the curry shrimp and grits awesome and flavorful. My severer was Sean was attentive answered questions about the dishes and the drink menu is like no other I had the brunch punch ( contains alcohol)and my daughter the sunset ( non alcohol) both excellent. This my first time at this restaurant and it now on my restaurant rotation.“

“Words can’t describe how welcoming this food truck has been the few times I’ve been! I drive 45-50 min just to eat from T! Her wings, donuts, and shrimp are amazing. Not to mention her SAUCES! The southern hospitality has won me over❤️“

“fresh, tasty, clean, healthy, no-mess delicious food that is properly prepared by chefs. this is not a commercial fast food joint- it's a casual, affordable spot on beautiful Giralda Avenue where staff is utterly prepared to serve you quickly and with a smile. you can see the food being prepared with proper technique ( hello meat thermometers). If you're practicing mindful eating on a budget, are on a time crunch, on a work break, this is the place to be. I'll be back soon!“

Do yourself a favor and order the Cuban combination appetizer. “Are you looking for a Haitian restaurant where you can finally sit, eat, and not leave with your clothes smelling like you work in the kitchen? La Gourmandize is where you should go. The atmosphere is welcoming, the location is meticulously clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I actually was able to conduct a business meeting there today and not worry about if my client’s clothing was going to smell like “épice” (Haitian spice). I ordered “fritay” (Hatitian sample platter). It had “akra” (fried-Haitian-finger-food), “bannann pézé” (fried plantains), “griot” (fried pork), and a side salad. You probably thought I forgot about the “Pikliz” (Haitian hot sauce)? It was some of the freshest servings of pikliz I’ve had. Although it was a fried food platter, the serving wasn’t drenched in oil. The Akra and bannann pézé were crispy, not overcooked, and well seasoned. The griot was well prepared, soft, and well spiced. I highly recommended this place if you’re in the mood for some authentic Haitian cuisine.“

“Today my sister wanted some soul food and heard so much great things about this restaurant and the owner and employees along with the good food they sell. I drove all the way from Miami Dade area of liberty city to try them out, and OMG the food was delicious and on point.
very flavorful and the turkey wings was cooked to perfection.
mac n cheese, collard greens, yellow rice. and let's not forget the Candi yams 👌 Lord knows I wanted to drive back up and purchase another 2 dinners. not too many knows how to cook because their young and lack the knowledge of how to cook a great tasty meal.

“The food was amazing! My mom and I popped in for my birthday as a ladies brunch and it was the perfect fusion menu. My mom got the fried fish and grits and I got the wafflette. The portions are generous. We shared and had leftovers.
Our server Naz was so nice and even gave me a special birthday treat!
We will definitely be back!“
