The American Legion Post 240 with friendly sociable members provides a welcoming atmosphere that offers a long FULL circle bar counter and an abundance of tables and chairs. With some research and onsite observation, it is apparent that Post 240's earnings go back into the community along with the building's interior and exterior maintenance. Grateful to be a part of American Legion Post 240.

Great place if you are active duty, retired, or a Veteran. Cheap place to get some beer and adult beverages. Come out on Thursdays for a delicious burger made by our Legion Riders. If you own a motorcycle and are a Veteran consider joining us.

Had my VA ID card but it wasn't enough to 'join'; not comfortable handing my DD-214 to a stranger.

This is a great American Legion post. One time I went here for karaoke with my friend. I sang “America the Beautiful” and everyone stood up, most (all?) singing along with me. There was even some weeping. It was a moving celebration of American patriotism. My friend was mad when he had to go after me because he felt it was sure to be a letdown! He sang “Rock You Like a Hurricane”

Stopped by while in town on vacation to support the Legion and it’s veterans. The building and facility had a fun atmosphere due to it being karaoke night. Drinks prices are great! An important thing not posted on the website (from what I saw) is that it is a smoking facility. We stayed 30 minutes and decided to leave because of the cigarette smoke and not one person greeted our group or even spoke to us.

I stopped by for a drink. A nice fellow came over to welcome me and asked where I was from. It turned that he, John, was the Commander. He welcomed me and made me feel at home. The customers at the bar were equally friendly. I'll be stopping by again before I leave town.
